Me and another driver decided to try this place after being advised that it was the best restaurant in town. My food was decent. But the other driver ordered fajitas. He tried and said it was good. But upon preparing a second one he realized the rest of the filling was burnt and stuck to the bottom of the sizzling pan it was brought out in. The waiter asked if the food was ok? The driver showed him the plate and he smiled and said that it wasn't supposed to be burnt and stuck to the plate. The driver said for him to just remove it from the bill and he would be happy. The waiter said he would talk to the manager. A few minutes later he returned and said he told him but the driver would have to discuss the bill with him "man to man". So we approached the cash register and he told the manager. After several almost heated arguments and a discussion in Spanish with regards of " crazy gringos eat and then expect not to pay" . My guess is that they assumed " loco gringos " didnt understand Spanish. They would not replace to food or discount the bill. This place is racist against non Hispanic customers. If your not Mexican I suggest...
Read moreI guess their business has slowed, as they have a sign on the door stating that they are only at "half staff" rather than fully staffed. That didn't deter my wife and I, thankfully, so we went on in and were seated fairly promptly, ordered our food after a quick perusal of the loaded menu, and had our drinks delivered quickly. Had some hot chips and salsa with quest dip, and when our food came out after only about a 10-15 minute wait, it looked and smelled really good! We both had the fajita taco salad, mine had steak without beans, and my wife's chicken with beans. They were both topped with sour cream, Pico, and guacamole. Very, very tasty on BOTH counts, and the shell bowl was probably the best one I've ever had. Plenty of meat and other ingredients, so we will DEFINITELY be back before long to this local establishment! Keep serving up great food with friendly...
Read moreTo say this place is mediocre would be a misleading, generous overstatement. I ate here twice in a week, both times for dinner. The second time was against my wishes. I'm not sure what is worse, the food or the service. We were there 40 minutes before we got a food order in, and the place wasn't very busy. The first time I had what was probably the worst chimichanga I've ever eaten. You may enjoy it if you hate flavor and cheese because it had neither. The second time I ordered pollo fundido, but it didn't come with a chicken breast, just strips. Also, the tacos al pastor are served on flour tortillas without any discernable pineapple flavor. The food was at least edible, hopefully they can turn it around and you will have a better experience than I did. I will say that the restaurant itself is...
