Karma Coffee became our favorite 'coffee break' just after they opened, when we lived just down Route 20 in Wayland. The owners and their team are friendly and make the best espresso drinks around. Plus the store is a cool place to chill, and there are tables outside in the summer. So we started to buy our coffee beans there too, and they are excellent. We moved to the south shore in 2020 and continue to order coffee beans from Karma - because they are the best in Massachusetts! Plus reasonable prices and quick delivery. In short, highly recommended! If you haven't tried their beans, start with Ethiopian Harrar - and they have a wide selection.

An odd review… I want to leave 5 and 0. I first tried Karma’s Coffee by a stop at Whole Foods Framingham and was amazed when I got to try Espresso Karma in my espresso machine, which is very good. I decided to take the 30 min trek to the shop to pick up more Espresso and get some work done on my laptop. I was shocked at the COVID protocols here. 1 guest in the store at a time and masks encouraged like it’s 2020, felt like a 3 year time capsule and a cost saving measure (Idk the situation). Couldn’t relax to work at this coffee shop which was a big part of why I made the drive. Espresso Karma was freshly roasted @ $18 a pound bag.

Excellent roasters who are super knowledgeable and care about their coffee. Dave really had a passion for his product and puts a lot of effort in getting the best coffee possible. The regular coffee as well as espresso drinks are excellent, and they have a selection of fresh baked goods. Employees are kind and excited to talk to you about their coffee options. There is a good energy to this place. Highly recommend.

One of the best roasters and small coffee shops I've been too. I think these are my favorite beans. The subtlety of the flavor is just amazing. Pretty good variety of roasts too. I personally am in love with the Kayon roast. Sad to hear it will probably no longer be available due to disruptions in Ethiopia.

Edit April 2022: Why does this cafƩ still have such restrictive COVID policies? Mask required AND only one customer allowed in at a time? No other business has been doing this since vaccines and low cases. I love your coffee, but the experience just seems cold. Waiting outside in a parking lot is awkward, especially when the...

Have on and off got beans from here depending on roast date… because for some reason America thinks 6 month old beans are ok šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Anyway specifically the espresso karma roasted 2/3 were abysmal - some of the worst I’d ever had, not sure if it’s an issue in sealing as the smell was like fish food and they tasted like cigarette butts which normally means they are extremely old, over roasted and have had exposure to the air. Also not the first time I’ve had poor quality from these guys, they seem very inconsistent and so I recommend avoiding- nowhere near George Howell for quality. Sad because they’re local and I always like to...
