First time eating here and it definitely won't be the last! Started with an order of fried shrimp dumplings and some chicken sushi Yakima- both delicious though the shrimp dumplings were off the charts delish! Dinner consisted of scallop handball, tuna handball, avocado and Cucumber handball. Beautifully displayed and absolutely perfect. Jeffrey's making will also be ordered again - served hot and just incredible. Companion dined on the ribeye teriyaki - cooked and served on a blistering hot stone. Wowza! One of my most enjoyable birthday dinners ever! We might even return this weekend!

In shock.. smh.. This is the worst food we’ve ever ordered from a sushi bar. I ordered sushi that looked like the attached picture. Teeny tiny Avocado Maki ..you could barely see the avocado as it was just under the size of 1/2 a green pea. And we were so excited to find Ohitashi on the menu but the serving was not quite a quarter of a cup and sadly tasted terrible, inedible. Everything was bland or inedible. They also overcharged us by $6. Definitely go somewhere else.

Really good sushi and cooked dishes on the outskirts of Boston. There so many varieties of rolls. They all look delicious. I had a blackboard Snow Mountain Maki which was tempura told topple with crab mayo. Tempura udon was good with additional cost you can add shrimp to it. Spicy seafood and sukiyaki ku udon were so good for the cold pre snow storm evening.

I ordered miso soup and the girls are off the hot/cooked menu, and two pieces of shrimp two pieces of salmon and their Route 66 roll. I guess I was primarily disappointed that it felt like the wait staff spoke primarily Chinese or English. And there was no sense of a Japanese welcome the typical 'Irashai' when you enter a Japanese restaurant for business was missing. Nobody greeted me in Japanese in any way. And I said the sushi bar which was fine and having spent a year in Japan and the past several dozen years being very picky about the sushi I eat here in America I was not overwhelmed. The food is fine it just wasn't notable or really memorable especially for the price. You know and with the name Oishii, which means delicious in Japanese I really wanted there to be truth in advertising. I guess I really had much higher expectations and they did not meet them. But it...

Nice place, we didn't have a reservation so they tried to force is to sit at the bar though. We decided to leave and suddenly tables were available lol. Had a few small Nat flies but we swished them away, everything else was very clean.

We ordered the sushi sashimi combo which included something called tekka make... These were very very very small, I would skip the combo next time and go ala cart

The Sashimi was SUPER good and the portions were large, the sushi on top of rice was okay. We also got two rainbow rolls, again SUPER good!

Waitress was very busy I think they should have had one more person waiting tables

I would recommend this restaurant and will likely return...

It's a little expensive, even for sushi, but that is likely because of where it is. It might be a chain restuarant, I can't tell though one way or the other. It's small, and usually slightly understaffed, but we've never had too bad a wait, always worth it. It's always been good- very good- and if you know what to get you can keep the price down and still get a great meal. We have been 3x now, and planning on going back. Not a huge amount of sushi places to chose from in the immediate area, and this more than suffices. Like all sushi places, don't expect a golden chorale type portion (gross), but even for a very big apptetite person like me, it's enough to...
