Just Ice Cream and a bit more — Restaurant in Sugar Creek Township

My wife and I love taking our kids to get ice cream as a treat every few weeks. We had our standby ice cream shop clear over in Canal Fulton for several years (and we still think their ice cream is great!). Then a couple from our church recommended we try out Just Ice Cream and said they'd never had a bad flavor there. It's 20min closer than our other favorite shop, so we gave it a shot for the first time a month ago.

Man, what a treat. I couldn't get over just how intense all four flavors I got were, and my wife was thrilled that JIC offers multiple dairy-free options (other than just standard vanilla like the other shop) for her and my son who are both lactose-intolerant. We've been back once more since our first visit and have yet to try anything we wouldn't highly recommend to our friends. I've so far tried eight flavors from their large selection and plan to keep going back this summer until I've tried them all :).

That said, if you're into seriously gourmet-tasting, high-quality ice cream that beats anything you can get from a store, you can't go...

Would not recommend, always mediocre service at best. Went in one day like normal and they were packed with people, I squeezed in and waited my turn, they staff picked everyone else around me and got them their ice cream and left me standing there, I then approached the counter and asked one of the employee's if they could take my order, he gazed around for a split moment like he had something else better to be doing. I asked why it they never called me up to take my order to which he replied, "Well, I didn't know what you were doing" like literally? I'm in an ice cream shop, what do you think I'm here for? At that point I told him to have a good day and walked out never to return, I won't give money to those that don't even...

Do you what a nice trip down memory lane? Then stop at Just Ice Cream In Brewster Ohio. All customers are greeted by super friendly staff. The decor is charming. But the homemade ice cream is the best!! Love the fun original names and creative ingredient combinations.I indulged with two different delicious scoopes ! First , coconut avalanche followed by muddy turtles. Enjoyed both very much! My hubby had one of the many sugar free and fat free selections, fudge swirl.He was very impressed with the flavor and texture.No funny after taste.
