Genoas used to be our go to pizza place for over 20 years. Unfortunately over this past year the quality has gone from great to very poor. We kept giving it another chance, thinking maybe it was just an off night, but tonight we've made the decision to never order again. First of all, their prices have gone up dramatically (which I get, but we are talking between $3-$5 per pizza). Second, their pizzas have not been consistent (ig crust extremely burned, then another one not cooked fully). Their quality control is not up to par at all, I had 1 slice that was 1 inch x 3 inches, then another slice, right next to it that was 4 inches x 5 inches. Lastly, we had a lovely blonde hair in our sauce under the cheese. The kicker of it all is they offered me a $10 credit.. No thanks, you can keep that $10, as I'll never be back.

They have changed the recipe to make the product as cheap as possible. The crust is absolutley paper thin. It is basically a quesadilla now. It's okay, Genoa's. We had a good run with you but it is time to move on. My son says Papa John makes really good pizza and it cost less, which is a bonus.

I had Gyros Sandwich and it came out great. I also tried their Philly Steak Sandwich which was wonderful. There is only one table for dine-in customers. What's more, there is no restroom.

Genoa, the charming pizza haven nestled in the heart of our city, is more than just a place to satisfy your culinary cravings – it's an experience that tantalizes the taste buds and creates lasting memories. From the moment you step through the inviting entrance, the ambiance sets the stage for a delightful journey into the world of exceptional pizza.

The first thing that strikes you about Genoa is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rustic yet modern decor, with exposed brick walls and tasteful art, creates an inviting space that feels simultaneously cozy and trendy. The open kitchen adds an element of transparency, allowing patrons to witness the artistry behind each pizza creation.

Now, let's delve into the star of the show – the pizza itself. Genoa takes pride in crafting pizzas that are nothing short of masterpieces. The crust, a crucial foundation for any pizza, is a testament to their dedication to quality. Thin and crispy on the edges, yet wonderfully chewy towards the center, it strikes the perfect balance. Each bite is a symphony of textures, leaving you yearning for the next.

The variety of toppings available at Genoa is a testament to their commitment to culinary creativity. From classic Margherita to inventive combinations like prosciutto and fig, every pizza is a unique exploration of flavors. The quality of ingredients is evident – fresh, locally sourced produce, and a harmony of cheeses that dance on your palate. It's not just pizza; it's a culinary adventure.

One standout feature of Genoa is their commitment to accommodating various dietary preferences. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese options ensure that everyone can partake in the indulgence. The menu is a testament to inclusivity, celebrating the diversity of pizza lovers.

Service at Genoa is another shining aspect of the dining experience. The staff is not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about the culinary creations they serve. Their recommendations are spot-on, elevating the overall dining experience. The attentive yet unintrusive service adds to the overall charm of Genoa.

Beyond the delectable pizzas, Genoa's beverage selection deserves a mention. A thoughtfully curated wine list complements the flavors of the pizzas perfectly. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, there's a pairing to enhance your dining experience. Additionally, the selection of craft beers and artisanal sodas caters to diverse preferences.

Genoa isn't just a place to satiate your hunger; it's a gathering spot for friends and family. The communal tables encourage a sense of camaraderie, fostering an environment where strangers can become friends over shared slices of pizza. The lively chatter and the aroma of freshly baked pies create an atmosphere that is as comforting as the food itself.

As you savor the last bites of your pizza, the dessert menu beckons with irresistible temptations. The tiramisu, a classic Italian delight, is a perfect finale to the meal. Each spoonful is a decadent blend of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone – a sweet note to conclude your culinary journey at Genoa.

In conclusion, Genoa isn't just a pizza place; it's a celebration of culinary artistry. The combination of inviting ambiance, exceptional service, and, most importantly, outstanding pizzas makes it a standout establishment. Whether you're a pizza aficionado or someone looking for a memorable dining experience, Genoa is a destination that surpasses expectations and leaves a lasting impression. It's a slice of perfection in the heart of our city's...

Let's start with the crust, because a good pizza begins with a solid foundation. Genoa Pizza's crust is a true masterpiece. It's thin, yet sturdy, with just the right amount of chewiness. Every bite is a delightful balance of crispy edges and soft, doughy goodness. Whether you prefer classic cheese or loaded with toppings, the crust holds up perfectly, never getting soggy or overpowering the flavors.

Now, let's talk about the toppings. Genoa Pizza offers a wide variety of fresh, high-quality toppings that will satisfy any pizza craving. From classic pepperoni and gooey mozzarella to unique combinations like prosciutto and arugula, they have something for everyone. The toppings are always generously portioned, ensuring that each bite is bursting with flavor. Plus, they use top-notch ingredients, so you can taste the difference in every slice.

One thing that sets Genoa Pizza apart is their attention to detail. The pizza is expertly crafted, with each topping thoughtfully placed to create a visually appealing and appetizing masterpiece. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can tell that the chefs take pride in their work. It's evident that they truly understand the art of pizza making and aim to deliver a memorable experience with every order.

Not only is the pizza at Genoa Pizza exceptional, but the overall dining experience is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions or special requests. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a night out with friends. Whether you choose to dine in or take your pizza to go, you can expect excellent service and a warm, inviting ambiance.

Last but not least, let's talk about the Instagram-worthy potential of Genoa Pizza. If you're into car photography for Instagram, you'll be pleased to know that their pizzas are not only delicious but also incredibly photogenic. The vibrant colors of the toppings, the perfectly melted cheese, and the beautifully charred crust make for some seriously drool-worthy shots. Your followers will be envious of your mouthwatering...

My sister and I ordered two monster-sized pizzas and a large party salad from here to celebrate my three-year-old’s birthday. It was $90. Almost 1/3rd of it being the SALAD cost. Incredibly disappointing. All that was on it was lettuce and a few tomato wedges. When I called and expressed my concern about it costing as much as it did for only lettuce and a tomato, they were too proud to refund that part of the order. Apparently, their “chef” had never had a complaint about it before and put an “extra layer” of tomatoes on the bottom of the “salad”. Not quite sure how that works since they were wedge slices, but nevertheless, they just lost what was once a loyal customer from years past and for years to come. Explain to me why a salad is nearly the cost of a monster pizza, and that lettuce and tomato are the only ingredients. I will never be ordering from here again, and I will see to it my friends won’t either. Very disappointing... especially when they were given the opportunity to...
