This banh mi shop is everything. The sandwiches are unreal with crispy golden baguette perfectly seasoned meats fresh herbs and that tangy pickled crunch that brings the whole thing to life. And the pâté I am obsessed. I could eat one of these every single day and never get tired of it. The herbal artichoke drink caught me off guard in the best way. It is earthy a little sweet super refreshing and somehow makes the sandwich taste even better. I do not know how but it works.

Just a heads up there is a bit of a language barrier so be kind and order by number. It makes things easier and the staff is always sweet and fast. This is my go to spot when I want to sit alone eat way too much and pretend like I have my life together. It is quiet fast and honestly feels like a little escape. Had the Banh Mi Dac Biet (combination special) and the Banh Mi xiu mai (meatball). Tried a lot of Banh Mi places around Bellaire/Chinatown and have narrowed it down to 3 spots. Banh mi Khang was one of them told all my friends about this place, had it a couple of months back was super flavorful and delicious that's what made it stand out. This particular visit nothing really stood out as far as flavor and probably could've have gotten a banh mi anywhere and be equally as satisfied. The Banh mi xiu mai (meatball) didn't have as much flavor as other spots I've been to. I've noticed banh mi shops have their up and down moments as far as flavor profile who's making it etc. Maybe just an off day for the shop but will surely try them again. I've been here a few times, it's a nice clean place with a good atmosphere and their sandwiches are always good with fresh veggies and good fillings. Yesterday I went and got the Bahn Mi Dac Biet (great as always) and the Bo Kho (beef stew with a baguette) and dang man that Bo Kho was delicious. I kind of wish it had more veggies but besides that it was great. The broth was rich and meaty, the meat just melted when you ate it no need to chew, the carrots were soft and had absorbed the broth and the service was good too like usual.
