First time here. Stopped in after riding bikes on the Glacial Drumlin Trail. We came at noon. The place was empty except of a group of people at the bar. For a bar/grill there was plenty of light through the front windows. The place was relatively spacious, and well cared for. Lots of video poker games, if you are in to that. (Nobody playing, so it wasn't a distraction)
Got seated right away with menus. We got our waters and soft drinks right away. We ordered a couple broasted chickens, and a Bacon Cheese Burger with Onion Rings. The food took a little bit of time to come out, but when it did it was all fresh, hot, and tasty. The broasted chicken was crisper, and well seasoned. Plenty of sides to go with it. The Burger was good too, but over-cooked (I asked for medium - rare). Generous amounts of bacon, and plenty of onion rings.

We have been patrons for over 2 years and loved eating in / ordering out but something’s changed.
After last night’s final attempt at redemption, we won’t be going back to The Black Frog. We sat at the bar for 10 mins w/out service while we waited for our to-go order. My Brandy Old-Fashion Sweet was not a good mix-for $6.50, I expected more.
Our dinner portions were a joke! The chicken was overcooked and the fish portion could have been considered as a “thick” fish stick. Not to mention the cold french fries!
We are not sure what has happened to the cooking and wait staff, but we won’t be going back...
