Nice little rustic Mexican restaurant.. I had the chicken and beef fajitas.. The service was okay.. I came into a restaurant w a woman employee holding a baby telling me I could seat myself anywhere.. Hot tea was not available, so I was given a 32 oz styrofoam cup of piping hot water and a huge "cold brew" ice tea bag meant for my huge cup of hot tea.. I ordered the steak and chicken fajita which came with ranchero beans and rice.. the order took about 20 minutes even with only one other customer and his wife.. now I have a serious issue with the price when the menu reads $12.50 on the fajita plate and $2.50 on the drink.. the food was amazing but the server never came back once everything was delivered.. upon checking out, the price went from $12.50 to $14.99!!!! And the drink went from $2.50 to $2.75.. when I asked why there was a huge increase in the price, he flipped the menu to a section that read, prices may change.. so, he wouldn't honor the price listed in the menu, only said sorry but he had to charge the higher prices.. I would've given more stars even though the server didn't return upon delivering my meal but with this huge price SPIKE, no one star is too much credit even so.. I would've been a returning customer for as long as I was visiting Sulphur, Louisiana but I DON'T THINK SO!! I WILL NOT BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER FOR PRICE GOUGING ME UPON POINT OF SALE!!!!!!! You just loss my...
Read moreBeing a person from Texas, I didn't expect to find homemade authentic Mexican food outside of the Loan Star State. Boy was I wrong.
The extra crispy tripas tacos were amazing that I made an additional order of two to my main entree.
As for their flavored waters, nothing is instant powders only all natural and sweetened just right for some delicious balanced flavor.
Well, I come to find out that everything is high quality food. I know because I have tried other Mexican restaurants that claim quality but the food is horrible.
If you are from any of the southern states that borders Mexico and you happen to be traveling in the East, if you are in Louisiana, come try Rosita's Mexican Restaurant and you will love their food.
It's a tiny place but the food is amazing and out of this world.
My respects and congratulations to the cook, Carlos you rock man! Sigue dándole shine bro!
And to the owner, Rosa, thank you for such great food and hospitality. Gracias por tan buena y riquísima comida y hospitalidad. Sique adelante y que...
Read moreWe went in and ordered the carne guisada thinking it was the big chunks of pork with thicker gravy. We ended up getting something that looked like a stew with vegetables and very little meat. That’s not what was described on the menu by the way. Get our food and we were very disappointed. We asked if there was a way to exchange and get something else we wanted, so the waitress calls the manager and then tells us that we can get something else to eat but will still have to pay for the meal that we don’t want. So they’re telling me, I’m gonna have to pay for four meals! Seriously! The waitress was very rude and I told her that there was no meat to this meal. So she asks me if I want to order something else and I was like nope! We didn’t see her after that. We finished our...
