Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Sulphur

9/7/2022 I order a medium tots, frito pie and a cheese coney. As soon as I took one look at the tots I could see a long hair that was intertwined fried through one of the tots right on the top of the stack. I then buzzed the carhop who just grabbed them and never said a word so I hit the button again telling them that I didn’t want them remade and I would just take a refund… to which she replied by saying that I’ll receive the money back on my card in 3-5 days… so before leaving I pulled out the cheese coney and as I did I could clearly see another long hair on it as well! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I immediately buzzed them again and told them yet another hair was found.. they responded by saying well so you don’t want the coney just the pie? So I said no thanks I want a full refund on all of it! She said well it will be 3-5 days! So I said ok then had to Get out of my vehicle and walk over to the kitchen and knocked on the window and handed it back to them. They seemed aggravated at the situation. I got in my vehicle and left .. so just a clear warning make sure you look at your food before eating it and definitely don’t eat anything...

me and my son went to sonic because we had a $25 gift card . I hopped in the car without getting my debit card( or phone)because I knew we weren't going to order more then $25 worth of food so we order our food and the girl comes out and said the gift card won't work. so I call the 1800 number on speaker in front of her and confirm it does infact have $25 on it .so she goes and gets her Manger at this point its has been 25 minutes. I told the Manger I offered to call the 1800 number In front of her so she can confirm it does have $25 on it . she rudely said " well we tried it and it doesn't work " (I even have the receipt from purchasing the gift card) so she legit takes the the half eaten food back that we have waited 30 minutes for because SHE can't get the gift card to work. I didn't have my debit card so I couldn't just pay for it . so I get home and load the gift card onto my sonic app with zero problem. The main reason I'm writing this is because the Manger is rude, my time isnt free and i wasted at minimum 30 minutes waiting on her and I got an attitude and no food and I feel like the situation could have been handled...

The Sonic cheese burgers was not as good as they have been in the past. ..they are smaller ,the bread is different, the meat patty is not a100% real beef ,the mayo & mustard is too much of it on the burger ,and the lettuce & tomatoes needs to be" fresh,"and washed then sliced to put on burgers ...if your in the fast food business ,have pride in the food your serving ,make it the Best freshest food product your serving as you were making it for yourself or your Mama ! Make it to impress and your business will be the one everyone in town will want to eat at ! Be the very best ,& 1st class fast...
