Pokemoto — Restaurant in Summerville

I’m always searching for places that stand out. Pokemoto absolutely delivers.

First the freshness of the proteins is immediately noticeable. I opted for a poke burrito with Double Salmon and the Lobster Salad inside, and it was incredibly flavorful and silky. They also offer a “lobster salad” option which I was happy to hear is actually imitation crab. Personally this worked in my favor since I’m allergic to lobster (thank you to the friendly staff for clarifying) though I know others might want to be aware that it’s not real lobster.

The real highlight here is the massive assortment of add ons and toppings. We’re talking crispy rice, crispy garlic, multiple types of fish roe, and a huge variety of flavored sauces. The flavor combinations truly feel endless. It’s one of the most customizable poke experiences I’ve seen.

They also feature a beverage station with fruit juices (from concentrate but still very tasty) and boba teas. I didn’t try the boba this time but the juices were great and refreshing.

Another standout was the Spam musubi which arrived warm and incredibly satisfying. Salty savory and perfectly balanced. And instead of the standard bowl I ordered my poke as a poke burrito wrapped in seaweed and it was phenomenal. Super fresh tasting beautifully assembled and very filling.

Noticed this place while passing by yesterday. Stopped by today for lunch and was not disappointed.

It's a fairly new business (opened this past May) and as of this writing is the first and only one in the newly built complex.

Atmosphere was great. The place was very clean. Pristine.

Personally, customer service is the most important thing for me when it comes to visiting a business. When I came in, I was immediately greeted. I typically have a number of questions regarding the menu, so I'm grateful that both employees at the time were patient through it all.

Dined in and noticed the same care in customer service for three other groups of patrons.

Surprised to see there weren’t any reviews yet. We saw this place driving by and decided to stop it. Apparently it’s only been open for about 6 months. Very vibrant and colorful place with a fun theme. I can tell they also keep it very clean. We came here for lunch after a work out. You build your own bowl or burrito with lots of options for toppings, proteins, veggies. The sauces you can choose from are also amazing and some quite spicy!
