Shawerma House SC — Restaurant in Summerville

I stopped by Shawerma House and was genuinely impressed. I ordered the chicken wrap shawarma — everything was spot on: juicy, flavorful, and packed with filling. Exactly how shawarma should be.

Besides the wrap, there’s also the shawarma plate option, which is great if you want to sit down and have a full meal. The service was solid — polite, no fuss, and efficient. I was lucky to come outside of peak hours, and they prepared my order in just 10 minutes. That says a lot about the quality — they actually cook the food fresh, right in front of you, not just reheating something pre-made.

So I came here today around 2 pm and no one was working the food truck even though it had “Open” signs on the sidewalk and on the truck itself. I thought maybe they were on a brief break and waited a little bit.

One of the nearby store owners said the food truck guy is “never there” and they “questioned the cleanliness” of the food truck that stays parked in the parking lot there all the time.

Don’t waste your time, money, and health with this terrible food...
