South Side Super Deli — Restaurant in Summit Township

I've only been here a few times. For starters everyone always seems happy that's working. So yayyyy for that. I really think they should rethink there floor plan. Also it says they have the best steak hoagie but I haven't had the opportunity to try yet so I'm keeping an open mind on that till I try it. I will be reposting when I do. Maybe I'll grab one tonight. However, I did stop by there one morning and they have breakfast wraps to go. There was quite a long line of people going for these wraps, so I thought why not. They come with bacon, sausage or ham and eggs and cheese. I went for a ham and a sausage one. They were kind of small but so was the price. I was really quite disappointed. I had two tiny pieces of meat in the one with sausage and the other had the ham taste but only one piece of ham. I'm sorry but with a line like that I'd be making sure to fill those wraps. Lol I just think of the potential of the place. Especially where it's located. Could be great. I will give them another chance though to get my five stars. My first visit was in 1980 while home on leave from the Army. My brother in law was so amazed by their subs. I tried one and thought it was great. Now, When I want a really good sub, hot off the grill, this is the hot spot. Not subway or the other places. Recently I ordered a taco salad everything was great until I bit into a stale chip. I called southside to let them know that the chips had gone bad. When Jason told me "its hard for me to believe.... What do you want me to do about it?" I told him my only purpose for the call was to let him know that the chips are stale. Not happy with the way I was treated or spoken to. Thats not good...
