Batista, older lady, did not understand what an earl grey latte was, and stopped taking my order when an older man walked up behind me for a refill. She began taking his refill order and telling the other younher barista who was making the drinks to go back to what she was doing and she would get his refill. The barista making drinks didn't have our order so she tried to get it, but then stopped when she saw the older guy too. Now they both are tripping over eachother to help him, talking around us standing in front of the register to him back behind us in line. We tried to ask if we could order and they gave us dirty looks and went back to talking to the guy. They argued about other lady how to make the guys refill. When the older one finally heard part of my order she kept trying to give the younger one a venti cup for an iced drink even when I repeated a few times it was a hot drink. (she seriously had no idea, I watched her stare, confused, at the rack of tea bags). Then I had to catch her attention again to tell her I wanted it sweetened. I finally asked my wife to finish the order because I was so frustrated. She skipped ordering her usual Frappuccino and food and got a smaller caramel machiatto because they were not paying enough attention to make even a Frappuccino and that was easier. She didn't want to spend another 20 minutes just trying to get a smores bar. I made the mistake asking about the reusable hot cup and instead of an answer got a three minute blank stare before she said they only came in grande but it could be used for a tall (why??), then went back to ignoring me.
