Watching Chef Austin and his team smile and joke with each other as we were seated at the chef’s counter, as requested, set the mood for a wonderful evening. They said hello, asked us our names and chatted with us throughout the evening. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and welcoming, the staff all well trained and accommodating. Being a special evening we ordered way more food than necessary, and ate every bite. We began the meal with the house made Sourdough Pita Bread, cooked to order in the wood fired oven and served with an exceptionally smooth hummus. The assortment of pickled vegetables that accompany many of the dishes supply a welcoming contrast of flavor and texture. Favorite dishes of the evening included the Short Rib with Burnt Babagsnoush and grilled cherries, a perfectly cooked fillet of sea bass served on a sauce of asparagus and peas with tiny bursts of preserved lemon, and a melt in your mouth Ribeye. To end the meal my companions enjoyed the Smoked Yogurt with Strawberry Rhubarb Granita and the Tahini Ice Cream. It was so much more than just a good meal. Our group of three could not have asked for a...

My husband and I dined here last weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We chose to spend it at Hill Farm (hotel and restaurant). When making the resy reservation it asked what we are celebrating to which I chose anniversary and then gave more detail in the notes section. This was never acknowledged by the restaurant, not even verbally. Resy then asked for my feedback- to which the I know the restaurant receives- and no one reached out to acknowledge my feedback/disappointment. This says a lot about their customer service.

The food was very good but the dessert was awful- we got the baklava- and it was dried out, not sweet at all, and burnt. Should not have been served.

We were the only ones sitting at the chefs counter and not once did a server nor the chef ask how dishes or meal was going. Overall, the meal was good except the dessert and we felt there was no attention to detail or service. For the prices the restaurant is charging, they should be better. We were left disappointed from the experience. There are plenty of other great restaurants in Manchester just...

Enjoyed dinner here the night of our stay at the Hill Farm Inn - it was the perfect accompaniment to our stay! The restaurant itself is beautiful - you have a beautiful bar, chefs counter seating, long farm tables for bigger groups and more private tables that my wife and in opted for after having a drink at the bar. We ordered the hummus, chicken wings, roasted carrots and a pizza. The first three small plates were our absolute favorite! No way I could pick a favorite between the three. The pizza was delicious, however we found the crust to be a little under done. Not like the ones we saw photos of or that were getting dropped at other tables. We asked them to pop it back in the pizza oven and they were happy to do so! The service was top notch. Attentive but not overbearing. We really enjoyed our conversation with the staff, it brought our dining experience to the next level! We can’t wait for our next...

It was a great experience seeing the three young chefs Gabriel, Austin (Executive Chef) and Mark in action at Restaurant at Hill Farm. These three chefs were amazing! I had a wonderful meal with new found friends. Sofia, the manager, was awesome and so sweet. I felt like I was already a part of the family. My second time to visit the restaurant and see these amazing chefs in action. I believe every week they have new dishes to serve which are amazing!!! Executive Chef Austin, your expertise in coming up dishes is awesome. Each one of them will just surprise you how beautifully he blends different ingredients to come up with such delicious dishes. Wonderful young professionals with excellent food and service. First time to try their dishes. Very unique, farm-based and delicious. If you happen to pass by Manchester, VT, please don’t forget to drop by this place and create memories.

Incredible dinner(s)! We visited Hill Farm during their opening weekend and ended up eating at the restaurant twice instead of venturing to town due to the absolutely delicious food! Another aspect which we enjoyed is the variation between the two dinners on back to back nights. Each menu was carefully crafted, using unique and fresh ingredients grown right on the farm's property and we were blown away with two very different meals. Great selection of wine as well. Breakfast at the main inn was also fabulous and cozy. Highly recommend the food and the communal seating is also so refreshing to be able to all come together and socialize.
