Chaat on Wheels — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

My husband and I visit every time we crave chaat. I am from Mumbai, so this gives me my much needed chaat fix in the Bay Area. There are other chaat places, but chaat on wheels proves that flavor is the king. Our usual order is dahi batata sev puri and aloo tikki chaat. The sev puri is refreshing and flavorful and the aloo tikki chaat is hot, delicious and comforting. We order the dabeli to take home. All the food is consistently delicious. You don’t have to feel guilty to enjoy this food. You can trust Auntyji to feed you like your own mother would. The food hits that sweet spot between being healthy and being tasty but not heavy. Uncleji provides great conversation that is hard to find these days. The genuine care that this couple puts into their business is like the special masala uncle sprinkles on their already delicious chaat. It is disappointing to see even 2-3 bad reviews here. We have brought many of our friends here, including Americans who were showering praises for the chaat and chai.

P.S.: not only the chaat, but the chai here is next level. You can smell the fragrance from feet away and is brewed with special spices. We are not chai drinkers, but always get a chai here since that one time uncle...

We visited this food truck today. We ordered Vadapav,Samosa Chat,Veg Sandwich and Masala Chai. The owners of the food truck were very kind,polite and served us with our order very quickly.

Vadapav had an authentic Maharashtrian taste and was piping hot,fresh and very tasty.

Samosa Chat was flavourful,samosas were very fresh and overall chat had a very good balanced taste..

Veg Sandwich was the highlight. Grilled perfectly,no oil,perfect taste. It is Auntji's speciality dish and was perfect.

We ordered another Vada pav and then Masala Chai. I can say that it was one of the best tasting Masala Chai in entire Bay area. Very rich flavour and sweetness can be customized.

Both the owners(Uncleji and Auntyji) prepare all the orders fresh and they also ensured that we liked all the food items. Really appreciate their hospitality.

We got such a perfect spot, under the shade of a big tree, cool breeze, and a couple of close friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better setting.

I started with the pani puri, honestly, it was just okay, a bit underwhelming for my expectations. But then came the sev puri, and wow… absolutely delicious. The masala they use is spot on, bold, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a must try.

The samosa chaat was another hit, loved how generously they added the extra dahi, it really lifted the flavors. Vada pav was good too, and the chai? Well, add 2–3 sugar sachets and it turns into a comforting cup.

Overall, this is such a nice place to hang out with friends, enjoy good street-style snacks, and just relax. Definitely...
