Yummy House — Restaurant in Sutherlin

Where do I even begin? We well never EVER patronize Yummy House again. I don't post many reviews unless something was really really great, or really REALLY BAD. That being said, in mid May I ordered take-out on my way home. I picked it up, got home ( we live 18 miles north), and part of our order was missing. My husband's chicken tasted TERRIBLE! It was freezer burned and had a weird texture. After contacting them, they were amazing (or so I thought) and offered a credit for the entire cost of the meal! ($50) Fast forward to tonight. I call up to cash in my credit, and of course they lost it and don't remember ever issuing it. Fine, I pay for my order and go home. AGAIN, an entire dish was missing from my order and this time the broccoli beef was incredibly salty and the meat was tough, the bbq pork with noodles tasted old (just the meat part of it). I'm so disappointed! Not just in the food, but that they wouldn't stand by their earlier promise to make the last mess up right. I was willing to give them a second chance because things were just starting to open back up after the shut down and thought maybe we had caught them on an off night. We don't recommend this place to anyone. Sad, we were looking so looking forward to...

Sutherlin was a quick work trip destination, so after work was done...I needed food!

I stopped by the Yummy House and was quickly greeted and seated by the very friendly waitress. The location had ample seating and was not busy, but the town itself did not appear to be a busy metropolis.

I ordered two egg rolls and an entree, because typically egg rolls are small to medium in size and are ordered as an appetizer. However, the very charming waitress delivered two of what we in Texas would call “burritos” to the table! They were the biggest egg rolls I’ve ever seen! I could only eat one and picked at half of the other, just to save room for my entree. Speaking of large portions, the entree was a massive portion and more than enough to cure my hunger.

The food was tasty, the lack of an extremely busy/ loud location was very nice and the waitress service was great! If I was ever back in Sutherlin, I would definitely...

My boyfriend and I got food here. I looked at mine, took one bite and told him it was bad to eat. He continued to eat his dinner, which was a different meal than mine. Today he has been sick all day. I wasn't going to leave a review just because I thought the quality was very poor BUT him being sick all day I thought was important to mention in hopes of helping someone else not get sick.

If you are used to quality food. DO NOT eat here.
