I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this time it’s just necessary! We used to love this place and it was always welcoming and friendly experience, except last time! I like facts so I only gonna tell facts. We got seated and girl named Vane took our order, we told her what we wanted and also mentioned that we wanted desert with “Dulce de leche”. She didn’t write our order down… After a while girl named Estefany brought it with chocolate and after we corrected and said we didn’t ordered it with chocolate she brought it back to kitchen and after some time it was finally right… but we also got it with a little attitude and nobody apologized even though it’s their fault! That was only beginning because when we got our food also with attitude, we noticed weird smell and taste from food! Nobody came to ask how everything tasted! We didn’t wanna risk it and waited for them to notice us, but they were busy talking to customers they knew, or chatting with each other. They didn’t make eye contact with us and that was really suspicious, because even the dog at the table across from us got better treatment and service with all that snacks and water! After we finally got their attention someone else stepped in but she wasn’t listening to my explanation. She didn’t even introduce herself, and when I asked her name she said Juliana, but it sounded like she didn’t care about consequences. Her attitude towards us was uncomfortable, offensive and disrespectful! We loved coming here and it used to be very nice and professional experience. Read moreI never usually post reviews but I was so disappointed with my experiences here. I went for the first time and told the server I had a dairy allergy and asked to not have dairy on my salad or in the dressing. The service was very slow (took about 60 minutes to get our food after ordering on a day where there were only about three other parties in the restaurant). My meal came out with cheese on it; and I confirmed with the server if the dressing they had brought had dairy and it did. If I had not asked I would not have known until having an allergic reaction. We tried going back a second time last week and just ordered an iced coffee and muffin. After waiting over 50 minutes, my infant daughter was getting very upset so we had to leave without getting our items because we couldn’t wait any longer. There was someone next to me that had been waiting for over an hour for two black coffees. I really wanted to like this place because the atmosphere inside is so nice but I am so disappointed. I contacted the email on their website to see about getting a refund as I wasn’t able to get our food we ordered last weekend but no one got back to me.
To be fair, I need to say that the food was good. Everything else was a disaster. We came in and sat down (prior to that we were waiting for about 5 minutes for somebody to sit us - never happened, we had to chase someone from the team and ask to be seated). Our order was taken 30 minutes later. 30 minutes! The waiter passed by several times pretending we weren’t there. Okay. 20 more minutes and we got our waffles with no maple syrup, which we ordered, and no cutlery. By the time we got cutlery and syrup, waffles were already cold of course. Along with waffles came coffee. Both cups were wrong + no cream was served (although we specifically asked for it). 15 minutes later we finally got our bowls. They were really good, but probably we felt so just because we were incredibly hungry. To sum up: almost everything that could go wrong went wrong.
