1428 Tap Haus — Restaurant in Swansea

Went to the Tap Haus for the first time yesterday with my wife. They have really cleaned this place up from previous iterations of this restaurant/bar I had visited.

I had the Bacon burger with pub cheese and jalapeños. I forgot the name of it. But it was excellent. The 1/2 pound burger was perfect temperature and very juicy. The Fries were cooked crunchy without being burnt. the way I like them.

The burger paired wonderfully with a leinenkugel shandy draft. I really enjoy these on hot summer days and oddly with burgers.

We enjoyed the pretzel sticks as well. The cheese made this app. It was delicious. I had to fight my wife for these.

The onion rings were ok. They would be better served cut in half width wise and have more pieces. As they were the rings were too big to fit in the cup. They tasted great, they were awkward to eat.

I would remiss to not mention the pleasing service of Stacy as the mixologist. She was attentive without being overbearing. Additionally we were out the door, well fed in time for our movie!

I want to try out the bingo nights and the trivia nights at a future visit. All together this is a great addition to...

Stopped yesterday for gizzards they were not ready but thats ok Tina I forgive you...lol I will return for many reasons. Pam was behind the bar and she was super great drinks never went dry . She was friendly and it was nice of her to tell us all the great things this place has to offer . The daily specials sound wonderful. We went just traditional bar food choices and they were fabulous. The bang bang shrimp were amazing. The trashed wings were a nice change from the usual we get at other places. The second round of cooking they grill them which made them so amazing . The picture was after we had already eaten half of everything. Wings were nice and big. The pub chips were super good. The place is clean and a really great vibe. Went to have pizza and salad at the tap house on 7/13/2022 service is great quality people. UT the pizza SUCKS dough was soggy and super thin we ordered a deluxe with Italian sausage with none on the pizza I can honestly say it was absolutely horrible green pepper were raw onions were not cooked at all mushrooms were canned and just a disgrace to serve we couldn't even hold it in our hands it was so soggy we really deserve a refund it was so bad will never order a pizza from...
