First time in. My wife and I wanted to try something new. Soulcial didn't disappoint. Started with salad and garlic flatbread. Salad was lite, sweet vinegarette dressing. Garlic bread came out looking like a cheesy pizza look-a-like. It was amazing. Wife ordered the cheese stuffed shells with marinara sauce. She nearly finished the whole plate, and that's saying something from a woman who had bariatric surgery. I tried the last crumb she couldn't eat. I was beside myself. It was that good, and I don't like stuffed pasta much. I ordered the flat steak with the creamy garlic buttered mushroom sauce. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium. The steak came out medium!! I was speechless. Dug into the steak and it practically melted in my mouth. Served with roasted potatoes and leafy greens. Not too tart lemonade and a margarita to wash it all down. Dinner was superb. I was very impressed with the chef. The atmosphere was casual, and the staff was attentive and answered questions. Many signature cocktails are offered, along with a selection of seasonal beers on tap or in cans. Another great feature I admired was their program to help others who are less fortunate. You can donate to help feed those who are in need. I understand they offer an outside bar and live music too. I'll need to learn when that happens. Folks, if you're in the Belleville/ Swansea area, do yourself a kindness, and stop in for a good meal. This place offers a little something for every...

Pretty cool spot over all.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday. Three other tables.

First the bad: pretty sure my Mac & Cheese was reheated and the *ribs were chewy.

Now the good:. Decor is great, great layout, super clean. These people clearly have design down. Cool outdoor seating area with a stage and spots for food trucks. Everything about the place screams smart and stylish. Mac & Cheese tasted great. I got the Dirty Ribs as they didn't have any Competition Ribs available. And boy howdy they were tasty. Meat came cleanly off the bone, and the sauce was great. *Note The sauce was described as a sticky sauce which may be why the ribs were a bit chewy. Guys I was with had a burger, and some kind of wrap, both said it was good. I had a glass of wine which was better than expected and paired very well with the ribs.

Worst part of the experience was the service. It wasn't bad, but it was good either. Straight meh... Menus casually tossed on the table instead of handed out. Not much of a greeting and zero follow up. I would have ordered more wine and gotten some water, but I guess those other three tables kept the waitress so busy... And I would have taken a receipt had you offered one... But good help is hard to find these days.

All in all, good experience, good food. Certainly worth going to. Prices are reasonable. Respectable...

First off, the smash burgers were on point, probably the best burgers in the area. The patties have a satisfying crisp around the edge. The sweet Italian salad was fantastic. The tots were great but I don't think they needed to be placed in another foam container if ordered with the smash burgers. So, you got the smallish burgers sitting in a take away foam container occupying 1/4 the space of the container. Just dump the tots in the same box! They put the tots in a small foam container with a lid shut inside the bigger foam container so it can steam a bit. I'm not sure what happened with the pizza I ordered, it is just meh. The crust is chewy but not the good chew you expect from a good pizza. The outside is kinda tough but the middle of the pizza is soft. I didn't taste the sauce one the pizza at all. Basically empty calories. I was going to give this restaurant 3 stars but the smash burgers were that good. Last thing, while I was waiting for my take away food, there were moments were the servers were all in the kitchen. Meaning no one were attending the customers for about 5 minutes. Then like magic, all four servers exited the kitchen at the same time. Is there a hang out spot in...

My husband and I went for Mothers Day. We were seated and drinks orders taken, we got our water but after 15 minutes I asked where our drinks were, I was told they were waiting on the bartender as she was not old enough. The bartender was there but was in and out of the kitchen. We finally got our drinks..beer and a Martini that was too sweet (too much Raspberry syrup). Ordered the Cheese bread, Lasagna and Seafood Cannelloni they were out of the Cannelloni so ordered the Ravioli. The food was absolutely delicious and big portions. We asked for the bill and received someone else's bill and could not get the servers attention for 10 minutes to make the change. Just as we were leaving they were putting flowers on the table...would have been nice to have them there before the restaurant opened. Service was just ok. Several people just walking in and out of the kitchen doing what looked like nothing when more attention should be paid to the customers and seating area. Also 'Smiles' and 'Welcome' and 'Happy Mothers Day' would definitely helped and make us think the staff were happy to be there and happy to see us.

This review is only if you have Celiac or Gluten sensitivity: Was told the tacos at the El Guaco Taco were gluten free however there must have been some cross contamination somewhere as I am incredibly sick now. This place is really neat, but I would not trust food from any of the regular trucks (El Guaco Taco, Space Shuttle Cafe, Soulcial Smash, or Fine Swine) to be gluten free. There may be guest trucks from time to time that are safe though. As far as the taste of the food it was okay the Carnitas taco was the best, however the tortillas were not grilled or warmed and we're straight from a package. The corn was not roasted. There were no beans or guacamole. This place is really cool, but if you have food allergies I would not take a chance eating here. If you don't have food allergies this is probably a 4 or 5 star place.
