The Kozy Kitchen — Restaurant in Swansea

Stopped by today to grab a plate togo because I'm not feeling that great, needed a little something to put on my stomach. Upon walking in there were a few customers sitting enjoying their meal, but I was not greeted nor did I see ANY employees in the whole front of house. I stood at the register for a few minutes before walking over and looking to see what was on buffet. Still no employees came out from the back, so I just walked out. My opinion, but if you want your customers to feel AT HOME, welcome them with at least a hey how you doing or a friendly face. My daughter and I tried this place for the first time yesterday, and we will definitely be back! We were immediately welcomed with smiles, the waitress was kind and explained how they do things there to me. You have the choice of the buffet and can also order from the menu. The burger was really good it tasted similar to a meatloaf burger, the Mac and cheese was very good and my daughter got their kids tenders and fries and even those were delicious. It was very cozy and family oriented. The gentleman who i believe was the owner always checked on us and was very personable. Definitely a great place...

Super disappointed in this place. We went last year and it was so good but found out the ownership changed. We can tell. Tried it last week and it was blah. The food taste just like it came out of a can. I don’t think I even saw more than one server. I saw a man which I think may be the owner or owners husband? He was on the side in his truck, seemed passed out ? Not sure what is going on with that… the atmosphere is not friendly or welcoming. Also think their prices are high for the quality of their buffet food. May try one more time, but...
