The Kozy Kitchen — Restaurant in Swansea

This was the absolute WORST food that we ever ate in our over 63 years of life. The chicken that we both took (a thigh and a breast) was completely RAW inside, the meatloaf tasted like they made it from spoiled ground beef, the collard greens had a really bad flavor (we normally love collard greens, my favorite vegetable), the Mac & Cheese had a terrible flavor too, as if they were made with spoiled milk. Even the butterscotch pudding tasted really terrible, and we love butterscotch pudding, in fact, we made some when we got home which was delicious! We live in West Columbia and enjoy going to restaurants in the area. Sugarbaker’s food has sure deteriorated in the past 10 years! We used to enjoy going there. We absolutely will NOT go back and we definitely will NOT recommend...

We try to stop here every time we visit the area. Great Friday night buffet. Fried chicken was so good. All the side dishes mac and cheese, Cole slaw,yams,mashed potatoes and gravy,rice,roast beef to name some dishes. Have a nice salad bar selection, fresh. Dessert was banana pudding and it was delicious. Sweet tea tastes clean and fresh. Waitress was so friendly. Go early it gets crowded but it's always good anytime. Recommend...

Sugarbakers is old fashioned cooking and the best of small town southern hospitality. Tea is always delicious!! This place is a cornerstone of the community in Swansea and people from all over the state come here to eat! My mom has worked here almost my entire life and the owners have always been there for our family! Love this place and I am positive that it will be part of the history of our small little town for many many...
