Honestly this location isn’t even a 1 star. This morning and many others, it took the incredibly rude and unprofessional staff over 5 minutes to make my macchiato- I was the one and only person in line. The woman that came in a a couple minutes behind me left with her latte and I still hadn’t received my drink. I told the staff that it had been 5 minutes and I was now going to be late for work. Instead of an apology, I was met with the excuse of their espresso machine only makes one drink at a time- I pointed out that the woman that came in after me got served first and again instead of offering a resolution or apology, I got a dirty look and she turned and walked away. When I finally got my macchiato, IT WAS ICED COFFEE!. Not the first time they’ve done this to me either. There is a very distinct taste between two shots of espresso and an ice coffee. The attitude given by the staff when you ask them to please remake has caused me to not even bother. Instead I either don’t drink it and am out the almost $5 for my drink or if I have time, I go to the West st location where they are friendly and actually l listen to and make what you ask for. I am highly disappointed that the management sees and heard yet does nothing but turn their back. I used to buy a latte or macchiato every morning- that adds up but because they made several mistakes a week and have a horrible attitude when you say something, I go maybe once or twice a week and they still mess up! It is unfortunate that this is the only location I have time to stop at on weekdays before work and when my drinks are actually made correctly, I really enjoy them but I am so tired of spending my time and money with a company that would employee such careless people that don’t understand customer service, attention to detail or basic manners. I will never return to...
Read moreThis place nearly always has a drive through line stretching into the street. Food is consistently Dunkin. Precooked, reheated stuff. Great coffee. Typical Dunkin.
Waiting in the drive through line for 20 minutes is the norm, however. This doesn't seem to be a new, staffing shortage related issue, though. It's been the norm for years.
Update 11/9/23: The last 2 times it's been closer to 40 minute wait for the drive thru. And I noticed dozens of people inside the restaurant standing around with angry looks on their faces. This morning, I watched 3 people behind me back out of the drive through. I sent a message to customer service a week ago and this was their response: We will alert the franchisee and/or our field operations team immediately to let them know what happened, and we have requested that they follow up with you directly regarding this issue.
No contact from the franchisee or field operations team. Clearly they don't care.
Yeah, I still go here because it's close to home. And because they give my dog free munchkins! She has 20 minutes to wait and wag her tail with excitement, though.
The people that work here are always friendly and empathetic/apologetic to the wait. The production efficiency issues seem exacerbating to...
Read moreWhen I arrived (at about 10 am on Sat. 7/11/20) there were 8 people (that I could see) working. All had face masks - but only 2 employees were wearing them properly (covering their nose AND mouth)! 3 had their entire nose exposed with the mask only covering their mouth (ineffective), 2 had theirs haming freely off of one ear, not covering their face at all, and 1 had the straps on both ears but the mask tucked under his chin not covering his face at all. I know it's hot, I know it's uncomfortable, but in a time of Pandemic, we all HAVE to help protect each other. I work in healthcare, and I wear a mask for between 8 - 12 hours per day. I was appalled that anyone, especially people making food and drinks for the public, would care so little or be allowed to work like that. I didn't drink the coffee I ordered, I couldn't trust that I'd be safe. Really...
