Little Dipper Coffee and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Sylvania

Had a great ice cream cone here with my grandson! Had a great visit with a young man sharing the history of the business. That was almost a year ago. Felt really at home.🙂 So comfortable on a Sat afternoon. This visit was to try the coffee. Started at the Gym 2 weeks ago & took note traffic in & out with coffee cups. Decided to try it. Disappointed with service. Disappointed with coffee. frappe caramel. Seemed watered down. No real coffee flavor. Treated my friend. She got a cappuccino. When asked what flavor. She said Hazelnut. The receipt shows she asked for extra flavoring. A charge of .75 was added for extra. But she did not ask for extra. She said her coffee was very weak also. Maybe I had my hopes too high after my first visit a year ago. I got a cup of Hot coffee from McDonalds & added it to my cup....

Cute little place! I’ve recently been there twice, one time in the morning and the other time in the afternoon…both during the weekday. My first visit was in the morning time and there was only one person doing it all. It was a bit busy (which was expected because it’s first thing in the morning and it’s a coffee shop) and there was a line so I had to wait several minutes. It was fine though because the girl working there was very friendly and working as fast as she possibly could. The second time I went was in the afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all and I got my order super fast. The only thing I got both times was the iced caramel macchiato and it was made perfectly each time…so delicious! Wouldn’t change a thing about it. I will definitely be back…can’t wait to try other...

Had the banana nut muffin after seeing that they were completely sold out of blueberries normally I would have been incredibly upset by that but I took it and truth be told it was amazing. Very friendly and polite staff definitely will be going back.

Update: Okay so their breakfast menu has been updated and it's still incredible however their lunch is.... Hit or miss honestly I had the Philly cheese and it was lacking, peppers and onions were good but the steak had lacking flavor and the cheese was just on top (majority of it slipped off) instead of being chipped into the ingredients. Fries are incredible however I still adore this place and it's a must visit coming through Sylvania however I wanted to make those notes to hopefully improve that...
