We hosted my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party (for fifty or sixty people) in the Pacific room at Narrows Brewing Company and it was a wonderful experience from the moment my sister and I got in touch with the Narrows' event coordinator 'til we departed after the party wrapped up. Our party was in mid June, and the combination of indoor and outdoor space the Pacific provided was just right. We had a number of older guests and folks who use mobility devices, and as far as I could tell it was pretty navigable and comfortable for everyone. The bartenders were superstars—heard a lot of praise for them throughout the evening—and the other staff who checked in periodically and removed empty glasses etc were attentive and lovely. Can't recommend Narrows highly enough! One thing that I especially appreciated as someone who doesn't drink alcohol: Narrows had by far the best selection of near beers/NA beers and other nonalcoholic beverages I could've hoped for. I tried three different near beers throughout the night and was genuinely wowed.

We all enjoy visiting breweries, but it had been years since we stopped by Narrows Brewing. Like many of you, we enjoy sampling a beer before committing to a full pour. After trying a few, my wife pointed out that they were charging $1 per sample. At that point, we stopped ordering. We were there around 1 p.m., and the place was empty. We were standing right in front of the host, yet she never mentioned the charge before we ordered. There were no signs posted, no verbal warning—nothing. I found it disappointing and felt a bit taken advantage of. They explained that the charge goes to charity, which is fine in principle, but customers should be told upfront. When I mentioned it to some local breweries, they were surprised at both the price and the tiny pour size. Honestly, it felt more like a joke than a sample. The location itself is nice, but my rating reflects the lack of communication and the unpleasant surprise after ordering. i recommend a visit but be aware of this hidden charge

I have been coming to Narrows for about 7 years and let me tell you— visiting Narrows Brewery is always an absolute delight. Whenever I am back in town, it’s always one of my first stops. Not only does it boast an impressive selection of craft brews, but its picturesque waterfront location with a view of the bridge adds an extra touch of magic to the experience. The relaxed atmosphere coupled with friendly staff makes it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or simply enjoy a quiet moment by the water. There has always been an amazing “family” feeling within this brewery that is unmatched. I would highly recommend Narrows for both beer enthusiasts and those seeking a serene escape!

I was just there on Friday night with 13 of my friends from a hiking group. We sat outside drinking and playing bingo in the covered area. I have personally hosted/co hosted at least 2 events there where dozens of people all spent lots of money . This group in particular has probably brought thousands of dollars in business to your company in the last year. On Friday we moved a fire pit cause there was literally no one else there and there were 14 of us. I am a retired firefighter and there were other like minded "experienced" people present. We didn't feel that it was any more dangerous then moving chairs or walking with a glass in hand. We were careful. I understand the liability though. When three people showed up we offered to move it back and also invited them to join us. They declined. When the staff came out we promised to return it and it seemed like all was good and we knew not to do that next time. The problem arose when a female brewing manager came to talk to us. She was visibly shaking and full of anger while reprimanding us. I personally apologized as did others and we were very respectful to her "scolding". It would have ended there till she said "Well..you know what..I'll give you 15 minutes to finish up". You literally lost out on a couple hundred dollars right there as we all packed up and left early. One of our people had the outside door shut right behind him..a big F... you to our group. We realize our mistake and I personally love Narrows Brewing. I will be sending this message on to the owner. My friends say they will never be back and I don't blame them. My question is can you make this right? We have been great customers for years. I love your bartenders and your staff and have never had a problem at all till now. That lady was way out of line. She could have talked to us like adults instead of three years olds. We apologized. That should have been the end of it. I can guarantee you that I won't be raving about your place and inviting dozens of people there anymore..quite the opposite. I hope that you can offer better social skills to this employee. Everyone else there is lovely and much...

Had a very disappointing experience here during trivia night. Our team had the highest score but when the winners were announced they had taken our team off the list, and we didn’t receive the prize money we had earned. We were confused and when we asked, the bartender explained that our score was too high and he concluded we must have been cheating. (One round he singled out as particularly suspicious because we had, I believe, 8 of 10 answers correct.) This was an especially strange because our table was right next to the bar, in sight of multiple bartenders, and we never looked at our phones during rounds. On the contrary, we spent many minutes debating the answers in each round and had scratch papers where we had brainstormed possible answers to prove it. The bartender explained that he thought we may have been using some kind of smart glasses, google glasses to be specific, to look up answers. (The glasses in question are normal prescription glasses and do not resemble google glasses.)

The bartender also told us he found our team suspicious because we had won too many times recently. Our team would have understood if there was some sort of mercy rule to make it more fun for other teams—but it seemed he brought this up as further proof that we were suspect, the kind of people who would cheat multiple weeks in a row.

After I left, my other teammates decided to talk to the staff again to see if they could reach out to management. When they did this, they were informed we were no longer allowed at the bar.

When I talked to several people outside the bar who had also played trivia that night, they were all upset by the treatment we received. None of them believed we...

Well, I'm 55 years old and have never been kicked out of a bar before. I've been having friend gatherings here for a few years now, sometimes 30+ people. I've never had an issue until tonight. We had 12 people who all brought food (allowed) and gathered in the outside area. It's a glorified boat storage space of concrete, but they've added chairs, picnic tables, and fire pits. It was cold out there and after about an hour and no other customers using the space, we moved the second fire pit appx 20 feet - next to us A few employees came out periodically and never said anything. We assured them more than once that we'd put everything back where it was. Two and a half hours later, after we had collectively spent $350 in drinks and $20 in music bingo cards, a lady (who I assume was the owner) emerged from a locked gate behind us and proceeded to say that moving the fire pit was unacceptable, that if we can't enjoy the space as intended, this isn't the place for you. It was like she was letting this anger build up in her, she was shaking, her voice was shaking, and she was extremely rude. We are not a group of children. We're in our 50s and she's speaking to us like that. She said we have 15 minutes to finish up and leave. Fine by me. I can guarantee that we're never coming back there. They can save their overpriced wine and subpar cider for others. We only liked the space because it was large and open, but there are plenty of other spaces downtown, like Seven Seas or...
