We found this place from TikTok.  We were visiting Tacoma for the weekend and figured it was worth checking out.  It's a small place that can be easily missed When we arrived, we learned this place was drive-thru only.   Not only that, not all items on the menu are available.  On Tuesdays, they post on their website what they will have for sale for the week.  At that point, you can pre-order and schedule to pick up on Friday or Saturday.  Of course, we didn't know this, but at least we had a small variety of 4 to choose from. I ordered them to cook the lumpias and waited about 15 minutes.  I walked to the drive-thru window.  While waiting, we could see regulars going through drive-thru.  Other first timers had placed their order online, and it was their first time going there.  Like us, they parked and walked to the front asking where to go to pick up. I talked to the owner for a little bit, and he told me that they opened in 2011.  They became a drive thru during covid and kept it that way since. I ordered:

Angel's original:  I thought this was a weird mix than I'm traditionally used to.   It tastes pretty good.   It's a twist on the  vegetable lumpia I'm used to.  I liked that it was meaty.

Taco mix:   I'm not going to lie. This one kind of scared me too, lol.   The owner told me it was like a taco just wrapped up.  When I took a bite, it reminded me of the frozen red bean burrito I used to buy as a kid.   I didn't see the refried beans, but I did see the meat with each bite.

The items we tried were a hit.  Now I know next time to pre-order.  I got lucky we arrived a day early.  We were able to come on Friday, and they had items still available.   I looked on the website today, and they only had teriyaki (ground chicken).  Which is funny because they didn't have that yesterday.  In any case, that's the only one to choose from today.  So if you decide to go here, please pre-order.  You'll...

These poor folks. I roll in at 2P on a rainy day with a hunger in my belly. A co-worker had fed me from this place a few weeks ago and now the hankering was back: a need for hot, delicious lumpia. Finally with a place to turn this is where I found myself. I show up and they ask if I ordered ahead but in my haste to make it before close, I had no idea what I wanted nor was it ready. The lady behind the counter assisted me in picking out a few delicious flavors for my dozen: the classic sweet and sour, Becca's favorite which I had sampled off my coworker and then the shake up siopao. Before I could outstay my welcome, there was the box of hot gold. I have returned, shared with my work family and am only satisfied. The dough crisp, filling fresh and sauces providing a perfect compliment to swap with. Becca's favorite with a hint...

I can't say enough of this place and their product. My wife and I have used them for two of our Filipino Cowboy themed events and the rolls did NOT disappoint! Unfortunately, every time we have an event, everybody expects us to have lumpia!

NW Lumpia has a great and creative variety of lumpia - the taco, siapao, and adobo are the party favorites as well as what ever the dessert offering is at the time (whether it's the banana or apple.)

They're always happy to see us and I feel a bit sad that they're a little out of the way from any major foot traffic like on 6th ave but I am assuming that their catering and bulk offerings is where they make most of their revenue instead of the walk-ins. Always looking forward to making a...

Found this place at the last minute! Needed to bring a dish to a holiday party and what better Filipino food dish to bring than lumpia? Upon arrival, it seemed like the most random spot to have a food venue in its location. There's no other restaurants in the area and it's mostly industrial buildings. We opted for the cooked lumpia which was a dozen per pack. We bought two packs; one beef and one pork flavor. Both came with a dipping sauce and we were very impressed. Very tasteful, cooked just right, and the sauce was a great complement to the lumpia. The gentleman at the drive through window was very nice and welcoming. We will be sure to stop by again when we're feeling that lumpia craving.

amazing customer service, the man was very patient and walked us through everything. at first we drove away because the flavor we wanted was out of sale but he was so genuinely kind we came back and tried a different flavor, the taco mix- and it did not disappoint. best lumpia i've had that wasn't my own family's. and there's two sauces, both different vibes so you can choose if you like or don't like. 13.99 for cold pack, and 15.99 for them to cook it for you, and with how much you get? i think it's a great deal. basically a dollar and some change per. 100% recommend!
