Wasana's Thai Food Cart — Restaurant in Talent

At talent location, I have been eyeing this food truck for years, but can never seem to catch them when I have a rare take out meal.

Caught Wasana today the hottest part of the day, so there were only a couple other customers in front of me. I ordered the veggie rolls and a Thai iced tea, and took them home where I could eat in the a/c. The wait was about 10 min.

Wasana was lovely and told me she came here from Bangkok, and also mentioned she's in Talent Weds (11-5) and Fris (11-7), she mentioned working farmers markets other days (this is as of 8/9) - apologies I didn't remember specifics.

The food was delicious.. a nice thick peanut sauce with attentively rolled fresh crispy veggies with a perfect subtle hint of cilantro in the veggie rolls.

The Thai iced tea is made in house, was perfectly (in my opinion) lightly sweetened, and the black tea used tasted smokey, like a Pu Ehr.

She's raised her prices on these two items as well as a couple others I think, compared to the most recent Google image of her menu I looked up beforehand.

Every time I shop in Talent I wonder how inflation seemed to hit us worse than other nearby communities.

Relative to other food trucks in the area, this has been the only one Ive really been satisfied with in regards to value/quality so far...

Visited this cart at the Talent Harvest Festival. It was busy, so I figured the food was good. I was told it would be about 20 minutes for my food to be ready. Came back right around the 20 minute mark, and stood there for almost 15 minutes more waiting for my name to be called. While I was waiting, they sold out and couldn't take anymore orders. Though they took their menu sign down, they had no sign to tell people they were sold out. At least four different customers came up and stood at the counter, and the guy taking the orders didn't bother to tell them they were sold out until they asked about the menu. He finally asked me to remind him of my name. Turns out they lost my ticket, and hadn't even started working on my order. My 20 minute wait ended up being 45. As a resident of Talent, I am very happy that Wasana offers her healthy, affordable and delicious food. I have a few favorite dishes sometimes I choose tofu or chicken, either way they always come with fresh veggies and fruit. On cold days, she usually has a pot of hot soup out and offers it at no extra cost to sip on while you wait for your food. She is hard working and pleasant. ...
