New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Tallahassee

To me it is another Chinese buffet. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Their food selection is very ample!! They offer sushi, hibachi, salads and normal Chinese buffet. I was surprised that they had kimchi on their salad bar.

Their dining room needs a complete renovation. The smell of the carpet is uncomfortable. some tables and chairs need to be changed.

We went there 3 times and at one of our visits, the waitress was very kind and friendly, by the time we gave her a tip she started asking a couple of guys around the table for more tips. No one gave her more tips and her attitude changed towards us in a negative way. We tipped her 15% or what the bill was.

But overall it’s jus another...

We didn't want to drive across town to the place we normally go to, so we stopped here to get a quick bite. The honey sauce was too liquefied, while the chicken chunks were gigantic in size and only marginal in taste. The boneless ribs were okay, but again were gigantic. It was like they just shaved each side of a spare rib of the bone. Shrimp rolls were again marginal. I know I set the bar high, as I spent my childhood eating Chinese food in New York's Chinatown neighborhoods, but still, there are places in Tallahassee where I get much better Chinese food. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am so disappointed with this restaurant and it’s quality in food. The chicken is extremely rubbery. Taste like I am chewing on a tire with some sauce. As you can see in my picture (attached) there is an entire onion in my dish, with barely any chicken. I ordered Mongolian chicken and definitely did not receive that….. The crab ranguns were only filled with cream cheese, so why name them crab ranguns?! The only positive experience that I received from this restaurant is my refund from the food I ordered and the apology I was given…… We risked...
