If I could give negative stars, I would. Walking into this place felt like stepping into a pastel-colored trap where dreams go to die and wallets come to suffer.
Let’s start with the candy—oh, the candy. You’d think it was imported from the moon and blessed by unicorns for how astronomically priced it is. I picked up a few gummy worms and somehow owed them the GDP of a small country. I was half-expecting them to offer me a financing plan.
Now the cheesecake. Don’t even get me started. One bite and my taste buds tried to file for divorce. I’ve had bad cheesecake before, but this one tasted like sadness, regret, and expired cream cheese had a love child. The brownie? Imagine someone baked a sponge soaked in cough syrup and despair. That’s what it was. I almost threw up on the spot.
As if my digestive system wasn’t already traumatized, the staff made it worse. Ultra rude. Like, “I-didn’t-know-you-could-be-this-hostile-about-sprinkles” rude. I asked a simple question about the ice cream flavors and got a glare that could curdle milk. I’ve had warmer receptions from malfunctioning vending machines.
Within minutes, I was ready to book it out of there like I was escaping a haunted house. I didn’t walk out—I sprinted, clutching my stomach and my wallet, both equally wounded.
Avoid this place unless you’re into overpriced pain, culinary betrayal, and customer service that feels like a personal attack....
Read moreWhen I think about going somewhere for some ice cream, quality definitely comes to mind. Why would I go to an ice cream shop if the ice cream tastes like it's store bought? In fact, the brand that is used here is Mayfield. I was not impressed at the fact that there are no options for toppings. I literally felt like I paid $4.75 for one small scoop of store bought ice cream in a basic cone.... (waffle cones were $1 extra)
I can't knock that the store is very colorful and inviting. It would make any child's day to head here for ice cream and candy. (There is an entire wall full of various candies that can be selected and weighed. I noticed it was $10.95/lb. There are also a few tables where you can sit down and eat and a TV playing kid appropriate shows, but no sound.
In my overall opinion, this place is extremely overpriced but cute. It will probably generate good revenue because of the location, but there are much better ice cream...
Read moreUsed to be a good place. Not sure what has happened but now there are kids running the place. Went there last night, not only were there a group of kids just hanging out inside-not one eating ice cream-the young guy behind the counter sneezed without covering his nose, sneezed a second time, again without covering his nose, and then lifted his t shirt and wiped his nose and face and said to me, "what can I get you"? I said nothing thanks and we walked out. Really??? Hand washing isn't a priority anymore? We...
