You know those hole in the wall places that you find and just know are going to be good? This was one of them! We got ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and campfire stew and it was all good. Ribs had a very nice smokey flavor and were not overly seasoned! Pulled pork was tender and juicy! The mac and cheese was thick and cheesy and the campfire stew was smokey, sweet and a little spicy. The sauces complimented the meats very well. One of the better BBQ's I've been to and the cost wasnt bad at all for the amount of food. I came here on a trip from California in September of 2024. My aunt recommended this place and we absolutely loved it. I’ve been in California for almost 10 years now and this was the first time I’ve had true southern food in such a long time. The waitress and cooks were amazing. I still have their cup in my cabinet. This bbq place is everything you want from a hole in the wall kinda joint! The meat is smoked over real wood, not a pellet or water “smoker”. The sides were all homemade and absolutely delicious! Ribs were done perfectly Pulled pork was done perfectly Even the damn sweet tea was done perfectly Well worth the drive up from Montgomery, and beats the hell outta everything round here!
