UPDATE:
Been coming here now on an intermittent basis and it rocks! Great beers on draft and in bottles ( the name has changed and a coffee bar added but all remains good). The ambience is awesome.
Awesome place with a chill vibe and hip interior design.. Very welcoming and down home feeling to this bar. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap and in bottles. The concrete style bar top seats about 17-20 patrons and there are also multiple table top seating that will accomodate 4-5 five patrons. Their lower level has about 4 tables with seating capacity for two. As for entertainment the walls are lined with 8 big screens s strategically placed for viewing ease, an up to date electronic jukebox, pool table and dartboard.
You can also step outside to a huge outdoor patio with umbrella style covered seating. They also have a DJ on select nights, just be sure to check their FB page or website.
As for food they now have small bites (flatbread pizza, wings, macaroni & cheese, and german style pretzels).

Read moreThis place still has a lot of kinks to work out. Came here after visiting the zoo with family. First off, this place was once a wine bar/beer garden. I would definitely not recommend coming here with children. Unfortunately, our stroller did not fit through the door to go inside, so we sat out in the beer garden. That’s fine, except staff taking their breaks were smoking and we had a hard time keeping the kids away from the smoke. Cigarette trays on every table which wouldn’t be an issue if you don’t have children.
We still gave the place a shot and tried to order food and lemonade, but 90% of the menu items were not available, including lemonade… We were told the establishment just changed to Blind Tiger and they’re still working on setting things up, but why provide menus with food we can’t even order yet? We were able to order a flat bread that ended up tasting pretty good.
Maybe we’ll try this place again in the distant future after they sort their kinks out and we don’t have...
Read moreTerrible music, over priced drinks, bait and switch advertising. They promoted a $3 flight night and then when I asked I was told it wasn't actually $3, but rather half the price it usually is. Fine, $5.35 isn't bad either, but when I give you $10 I expect to get my change, nope, I guess the bartender assumed it was all a tip and moved on to the next patron. I then ordered a pint of German lager, but I was given a tulip of lager instead. I don't think German lagers are traditionally served in tulip glasses, maybe I"m wrong, but either way, when I order a pint I expect a pint, and if you can't then tell me before you charge me $7.50 for a smaller beer. The 90s pop/top40/alternative radio station playing all night was the icing on the cake! Ace of base, no thank you. I will not be patronizing this bar again until I can get the misery of Matchbox 20 out of my head. On the plus side, the outside patio did look nice, and the bathrooms were clean, so they do have that...
