D&D Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Tampa

Been stopping by D&D on and off over the last 30 years or so, and it's like an old friend. Always there for you and never lets you down. I've actually learned more Spanish by going there, than I did in school. Just the best owners and staff you'll ever meet, and they pour their heart into having everything ready for the early morning commuters who are lucky enough to taste their authentic Cuban delicacies. I was told about them by a friend, or I would have never stopped here. Their Pressed Cuban Sandwich was second to none, and their Navy Bean Soup with Chorizo Sausage was absolutely to Die for! I got both a small Cuban and a big bowl of the soup for 5.75. They even put some free Cuban Bread and Butter in the bag with my soup, so I could dip it in my Soup. The place ain't fancy, but service was great, the food was excellent, and the prices were not a big rip off, like some other Sandwich Shops in Tampa...

I lowered the rating because this morning my order was messed up. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. I ordered bacon and eggs and they were asking "on cuban" and I said on a plate. Guess what? I got it on Cuban bread. Smh. Seems like they do whatever they feel like doing. We'll, I didn't have time to wait to get it corrected.
