Hi there, I’m 20, I also work in customer service so I completely understand when it’s not the workers fault or anything, I just want to be honest with my opinion because I’ve had enough. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but legitimately ANY time I come to this McDonald’s somehow they mess up my order or tell me something is out. Which is fine, I can check my food and let them know. But also the customer service here is HORRIBLE. Whoever is hiring these employees needs to access them more properly or have more authority because they give below minimum effort here. The girl at the front window couldn’t even say “is this a mobile order?” I asked her to repeat herself twice and I couldn’t understand her so I rolled up to the window. She just sounded like she mumbled “mobile order” and I said no, so I went back around to order. When I did order, she didn’t even tell me to drive to the next window. She sat back down in her chair, airpods in and went back onto her phone. Absolutely no interaction or aid with the customers. Also, they said they couldn’t make shakes which is fine, they’re maintenance but I was really craving one. At previous times I’ve been here, because this has happened SEVERAL times, I’m told before closing that they’re closed while they still server Uber and online orders. I waited 20 minutes in line along with other customers just to be told that. I have had COUNTLESS experiences where I had missing food. Bringing food home after work, for my little brother, for dinner and etc. Every single person I know, who especially lives in the south of Gandy area complains. “This McDonald’s is horrible” or “don’t go there they always mess up the order” EVERYONE complains about it. They don’t put a review up so I will. Because I’m absolutely tired of this service, I don’t want to have to drive another 15 minutes to a better McDonald’s. Please, owner of the place, do better and hire better people. I just want my food I’m not picky at all. If your workers gave at least a little effort and if the service there was at least a little better, my day would have went along much easier. I am exhausted from my own double shift and all I wanted was a milkshake I...
Read moreCompletely nonsensical system and a total disregard for customer satisfaction!
I went to this McDonald’s at very late to pick up an Uber Eats order. Since the lobby was closed, I knew I had to go through the Drive-Thru. However, there were four-five cars ahead of me, and they were just placing their orders. I saw that the order I was supposed to pick up was already ready, so I walked up to the pickup window to get it. Instead of handing me the order, the employee (a young woman) told me I had to wait in line. Not wanting to argue, I did as she said—and ended up waiting in line for almost 15 minutes for no reason.
The result? • The order was already ready but just sat there. • I lost time and missed out on extra earnings. • The restaurant now looks like they prepared the order late, even though it was sitting there the whole time. • Most importantly, the customer had to eat COLD meal.
The only thing missing under me was a car—I’m already at the Drive-Thru, so why not just hand me the order? Is this an actual policy, or was it just the employee’s personal decision? Do they just enjoy making things harder for people? If orders were handed out properly, McDonald’s would have better ratings, but clearly, they don’t care! Zero customer satisfaction, zero employee training.
By the way, the employee in question was NOT Wendy. Wendy seems like a great coworker, but her friend next to her clearly isn’t happy working there. I hope she finds another place where she can satisfy her ego.
If you enjoy waiting forever and eating cold food, this is the place for you. But for a brand like McDonald’s? Absolutely unacceptable!
When a girl is already standing at the window , and the order is already ready, you could simply extend your hand for a second and hand it over. If nothing else, you do it out of basic human decency—especially when you see a young woman working at this hour.
I just wish you cared about your ridiculous rules as much as you care about customer service and your Uber Eats...
Read moreIt was late, just minutes before midnight and the shot closed at midnight but the door was already locked so we wrapped karma and rapped on the door to get attention of somebody inside to a service a drive thru customers. It had been a late night running a teenager around to some competition that schools insist they do, and I guess these activities build character and contribute meaningfully to the life of young people, and we would not have stopped but there were no other places with open facilities. Tapping my wrist to suggest I had a watch I was looking to suggesting that they should still be open, the associate went to the back and got keys and opened up and let us into the restaurant. It was unfit for customers, they had taken everything out from under the counters for cleaning (and I appreciate that they do that). We ordered 2 sandwiches and there are deep fried chicken strips that they referred to as crispy so as to avoid the negative connotation of them having been fried. We were and offered an opportunity to eat in and we didn't really ask, appreciating the opportunity that was afforded to us by a generous associate - access to the facilities. As we enjoyed the crispy chicken strips dipped in a variety of counter-snatched sauces, A local trooper pulled up and approached the door, signaling to the host to approach. It seemed like a popular place for the late night, however, she was turned away. Our son, teenagered with hunger, passed on the once crispy chicken and finished the sandwich. I don't know what time it was that they disassembled the counter service area for cleaning, but I do appreciate seeing thee back and of how things happen even just a little bit, and we do appreciate the openness to serving as during the regular operation hours and let us access to the facilities. I kind of wish they had a more open community spirit with regards to those who serve and protect overnight, and perhaps someone from the restaurant will read this and establish...
