챠밍코너 Charming Corner (중식당) — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

It’s been around since before I was born, and still remains in my eyes to be the best place for jajangmyeon (black bean noodles). The owner is very consistent with the taste, so every time I come it does not disappoint. The maker knows what he’s doing when it comes to jajangmyeon. Other places in Guam can’t even compare to the love he puts into this dish. God, he lives, breathes, and eats this stuff. I can’t stress this enough, you have to try it. I recommend adding with an egg though as that’s my personal favorite ❤️

In terms of customer service, it’s not the best. But honestly, most korean restaurants in Guam have terrible customer service anyways. All you really got to do is flag them down and they will come. Charming Corner is my go to place for jajangmyun or for jjamppong. Their tangsuyuk is also very delicious! They don’t play around with food here. The service isn’t the most friendly but I’ve gone often enough for me to know that. Newcomers might feel that they’re rude but they do their job just fine. As long as you get their attention they can bring whatever you need.

A local tip is to call before arriving. I do this so we don’t need to wait for the food. Most of the time the food is cooked right on time so we can eat without waiting.
