We loved how flexible they were in helping us design a dessert table that matched our wedding theme, budget, and guest count. They worked with us at a tasting consultation to come up with unique flavor combinations and ensured everything would be fresh and delicious. Taste: The desserts were nothing short of spectacular! Each treat was bursting with flavor—our guests couldn’t stop talking about the mini desert shooters, cream puffs, and the whoopie pies. For our bride and groom wedding cakes the layers were moist, and the frosting was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the right amount of creaminess. We also appreciated that they offered gluten-free and vegan options, which made all of our guests feel included. Presentation: On the wedding day, the setup of the dessert table was beautifully arranged. The Batter-Up Bakery team made sure everything looked picture-perfect, with elegant displays and a cohesive design. It really added an extra touch of sophistication to our reception. The details, like the cake topper and decorative elements, were just what we wanted and so much fun! Service: The service was outstanding from start to finish. Batter-Up Bakery was communicative and timely, ensuring we were involved every step of the way. They even delivered everything to the venue on time and set up the dessert table beautifully. They took care of everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a bakery to provide the perfect sweet treats for your wedding, I highly recommend Batter-Up Bakery. Not only are they skilled at crafting gorgeous and tasty desserts, but they also offer excellent customer service. I can tell you this: Julie's baked goods are phenomenal; Julie and her helper, Danielle, make some downright great food! The perfect Cinnamon Rolls! The Swedish and German immigrants brought the delectable cinnamon roll to the United States in the 17th century. So, let's talk about the qualities of a Great cinnamon roll, in fact, The World's Best Cinnamon Roll! The dough should be lightly sweetened but full of flavor — yeasty and buttery; the filling should have a punch of cinnamon and be sticky with brown sugar and butter. And the icing? It better be ooey-gooey. Fresh dough, frosting, and a generous amount of cinnamon are used to make their delectable rolls. The cinnamon roll is light and fluffy, with just the right sweetness. Batter up Backey owner Julie has mastered her cinnamon roll! Now, the cupcakes! Colorful, moist, delicious cupcakes with extra frosting. Great taste, moist, Fine delicate texture, Light body (not dense or heavy), Good shape (gently domed), not too sweet, but very lush and never overtly flavored frosting. Thanks Girls! I will be back!

Driving further up north, I passed by this establishment and thought it looked quite quaint and fun with its name. On my way south, I decided to stop in for some coffee, and boy, was I glad to do so! I hadn't realized they carried so many gifts as well as being a cafe. Service was friendly, and I absolutely cherished meeting Maggie, the shops 18 year old dog. Wow, what a feat that I love to see as a pet owner myself. The best part of my stop was the cinnamon bun. Biggest bun I've purchased yet. It was absolutely fantastic and well worth making the stop!! It was everything you could ask for in a cinnamon bun. External had a delicate crust, some parts gooey, soft internally with a wonderful texture. Cinnamon blend was perfect. Icing was generous, and it seemed that it had a hint of cream cheese in the icing. I typically refrain from cream cheese in icing and prefer vanilla, but this was such a hint of flavor that I greatly enjoyed eating it! Stop in, and you'll get a home run for aure!!!

Driving further up north, I passed by this establishment and thought it looked quite quaint and fun with its name. On my way south, I decided to stop in for some coffee, and boy, was I glad to do so! I hadn't realized they carried so many gifts as well as being a cafe. Service was friendly, and I absolutely cherished meeting Maggie, the shops 18 year old dog. As another small business owner, I can appreciate when I see hard work and love go into a product/business. Julie is a 1 woman show who occasionally has 2 others working with her. She fulfills multiple large wedding orders for breakfast, lunch as well as dessert each weekend and still manages to keep her doors open for her local regulars as well as tourists that pass through on their travels. She is the 1st to open early and offer free coffee to line workers, DPW, 1st responders & plow drivers during the winter. She will greet you with a smile and is always happy to customize your order for you. Stand up owner and human being! We have been ordering from her for 5 years now for our own family as well as countless wedding groups and never once has anyone been disappointed. Highly recommend stopping by! Just keep in mind that here in the Valley, we are a VERY popular spot for tourists and sometimes on the weekends our small mom and pop shops can be extremely busy.
