Dixie creek saloon — Restaurant in Tangent

Sadly I have to say my boyfriend,Justin and I were very disappointed with the breakfast we ordered. The waitress we had was very sweet and did a great job waiting on us. However we ordered a farmers breakfast and the sausage was sour the bacon was burnt and overall it tasted old like it had been made the day before. I don't know how one can mess up french toast but The French toast was even cold even after we had her ask the cook to reheat it it was still cold. We usually aren't ones to complain and felt really bad about it but we didn't want anyone getting sick if the sausage was bad. Even though we didn't even eat a quarter of the meal they didn't refund our money but gave us a $10 gift certificate. The meal was $15 and sorry but after what we were served we don't plan on eating there again. Also the manager made us feel extremely awkward by standing in the doorway to the kitchen staring at us with a dirty look on her face until we got up and left. So overall the experience was not a great one except the waitress who handled the situation the best she could with a smile...

1 star for breakfast. Disgusting. We went there for breakfast, do not recommend. French toast was not cooked in the middle raw egg, I sent it back. Tried part of my husbands chicken fried steak, eww the batter was burned and oily got me sick and my husband didn't even eat half of it. Might come back for lunch but never for breakfast. Horrible food, we both came home sick to our stomachs from breakfast. The kitchen was unclean with a dog walking in there. Serious health violations.

Lunch was amazing, different cook, even the patrons said the other cook was horrible, we should of listened. The Tangent burger is huge and tasted home-cooked. Amazing French fries. I Recommend the burger. Service Tha day was amazing, Thank you Taylor. Place Feels like home. Just don't go there...

Not very good service this was the 3rd time we have gotten up and walked out after sitting in the dinner area but not in the bar part for over 15 minutes with no body coming to help us. The two ladies tending the just looked at us and kept on talking to each other and not even asking if we need help or anything when we walked up to the counter.
