Overall, I'm a little let down by the experience. When we arrived, it was undoubtedly much busier than I had anticipated. Although the main dining room had available tables, they decided to seat us in a separate space that they reserve for larger parties. It felt a little awkward because there were only two of us seated at a table that could seat four to six people. I didn't mind it too much because I know that there is a certain rotation for tables/servers. Although our server was polite, it took her a long time to bring us our beverages. Once more, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because her area consisted of only large parties. While deciding on our main course, we decided to order the Supreme Nachos. Reviewing the menu takes some time due to its size, but at least everyone can find something they like. Please be aware that there are no starters like bread or chips served at this restaurant for free. We waited over half an hour for our waitress to come back to our table so we can order our main entrees. At this point we’ve been sitting for 30 minutes without any food. Our waitress had forgot to place our order of nachos. At that point we decided to scratch the nachos and we waited another 15-20 minutes for our main entree to come out. had asked that the Buey Steak be cooked to a medium-rare doneness when I placed my order. The meat was severely overcooked when it arrived. Although the steak was tough and dry, the overall taste was great. My guests had no complaints after ordering the Chicken Special Trio. I believe the restaurant has a lot of potential. We may have just caught them on a bad day. I hope our second...
Read moreWalking into this restaurant the atmosphere was good, our party of 5 was seated in about 10 minutes and that's when things started to go south.
Once we got seated the hostess only gave us 1 menu and 1 silverware setting for a party of 5, our server didn't show up for almost 10 minutes so we ordered drinks and appetizers. Got our drinks in a couple minutes and the apps came out in maybe 10 minutes later still only one silverware setting so I had to go find someone and ask for more. At this point we had passed around the menu and everyone knew what they wanted. Now we haven't seen our server since she dropped of the drinks so she showed up and we ordered dinner, more chips for the queso and another round of drinks. It took maybe 15-20 min for entrees and chips to come so that was good however everyone's drink was gone so I had to get up again and go find someone to ask where our drinks were 2-3 minutes later the 2 tea's, 2 cokes and sprite showed up, that's right 20 minutes for soft drinks. Did I mention it was after 8pm so it was not packed, maybe 35-40% full. Halkway through our meals the server showed back up to see how we were and I ordered 2 more tea's and that was just a waste of air because they never made it and we got the check 5 minutes after our meals were done. To be fair the food was good so if they had some experienced restaurant managers to run this place it has a chance to be 5 star...
Read moreI’ve never rated/reviewed a restaurant before in my life so bear with me as I mention my experiences. The first time was great! Praising the only bartender that night who was VERY kind and working efficiently. The second time I ate there, the bartender was once again sweet, but there was an issue with my bill. My friend and I were both charged for the same order (which was their order, not mine). Mistakes happen, y’know and with patience, I waited as the owner of the establishment stepped in with another manager to help the bartender out. Just as the owner is fixing the situation, I detected an impolite tone as he spoke to me. He even tried to initiate an argument and get something out of me. It wasn’t until I mentioned, “If I have nothing nice to say, I won’t say it at all,” he offered me a full refund. My friend and I STILL PAID for our orders, because the food was amazing and the bartender was amicable. And now, every time I step into the establishment, I get stared down by the owner, the managers, and some of the employees like I’m the problem. It’s just drama that I don’t wish to partake in… hopefully we can all be...
