Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Tappahannock

I visited kfc Taco Bell with my brother after being in the car all day. We headed for the bathrooms before ordering. I notice there is food on the door knob.... ok... so I wait. Next thing I know there is a kitchen employee who flushed the toilet (did not wash their hands) walking out wearing her disposable plastic apron!!!! In the bathroom!!!!! With her dirty gloves!!!!!!!! At this point I knew I wasn’t going to eat here but I still needed to stop for the restroom so I go in and there are several things I feel need to be addressed... the toilet... looked like it had NEVER been cleaned. The toilet paper roll was on their disgusting floor, there was no soap in the girls OR boys bathroom and the hand dryer was broken in the girls bathroom (for who knows how long). I also saw several other employees go into the restroom after me and did nothing about the mess. Are these y’all standards?? I have never seen something so ridiculous. How are you properly following health code if all of these things are broken/empty!?? I didn’t even want to know what it looked like in the kitchen. When I got out of the restroom my brother had tried to put his order in already. The girl at the register was so rude rolling her eyes. My brother had given her a 20. I could barely hear her speak when she said ‘Is this all y’all got, we only have ones in the register’ implying that if we paid with a 20 we would only get 1s back as the change. What????? When I worked in fast food that was when we would go to the damn safe in the back and get some change. What the hell!??? At that point we were not going to go back to the car to grab our wallets since we only grabbed a 20 before walking in and I wasn’t going to accept 15 ones as my change so we just left. This place is horrible. The employee was giving handshakes to his buddies that were there as customers and then started making my food without washing his hands or wearing gloves so I said something and was told we're not the only place around here and that I can go somewhere else. I haven't been back in over a year until today and it was the same. We usually order alot of food and try new things on menus but I just ordered 9 tacos because my son wanted taco bell and we went through the drive thru. One taco was wrapped in the bag. The rest were literally just thrown in the back unwrapped. I went back through the line and the young lady rolled her eyes and said "I'm so tired of people" and slammed the window. I just took the loss and drove off and went to the grocery store and made my son tacos at home. The manager or whoever is training these employees needs to be fired or do their job and train them right and hold them accountable. I used to eat here a few months ago but eventually stopped for good reasons. This mainly to do between the environment and the food. 1. I remember seeing that some woman who had messed up teeth and red hair, most likely a manager. She got angry at the drive thru employee and chewed him out (The drive thru employee was an African American young man) for simply asking for help which led to 3 other employees going outside??? Get rid of that woman if this is happening! That's what's causing the slow service! Constantly yelling at other team members does not make service any better! 2. The chicken has decreased in quality. The white meat seeming to be somewhat dry or undercooked. 3. It also seems that another manager, yells really loud at the other employees over the most little things ever. It's so childish!
