Hardee’s — Restaurant in Tarboro

This is less of a review and more of a safety briefing. One of my lady friends recently recently had the experience of going through your drive-thru and received a rather unpleasant reception. This friend is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet, but she matches energy. If you're nice to her, she'll bake cakes and cookies for you, and may even share her tacos with you if you're extra nice.

But if you're mean to her, she can make that cougar that Reece Bobby put in Ricky Bobby's car seem like a harmless kitten. Your staff isn't ready to drive with that level of fear, yet. From what I heard, it's a wonder that she didn't throw everything she had within reach back through that drive-thru window. From what these other reviews are saying, it sounds like your staff all grew up in the Era of social media, where they can say what they want and be disrespectful without the fear of being punched in the mouth. Your administrative staff needs to get a handle on this before they say the wrong thing to a customer who may be mentally unstable enough to do really bad things as a result.

Now, I'm not personally threatening anyone, and I wish no harm to anyone. This is just some real-world advice. Now, please excuse me while I get said lady friend calmed down enough to bake things and share tacos again. I'm hungry. God...

Dec 18th, 2022 Very slow and unorganized service. Took 7 minutes to get to the counter to place our order. There was only one other customer in front of me and he had a small order. Then took 13 minutes to be handed our food after ordering. I watched as another customer who had been there for quite some time before us, patiently wait to receive the rest of his order. He had already had half of it and could have sat down, said his prayers & have eaten that twice over before receiving the rest of his order. Drive thru had 2 workers who didn't seem to know what they were doing. The front counter was manned by one person who also helped drive thru and made some food. She wouldn't speak up even after asked to do so. I wasn't sure if she had gotten all of my order until after i got my food. 3 biscuits and one platter. Looked as though only one cook but he was grinding it out! Great work on his part. I watched as our order had been easily completed (biscuits prepared ahead of time) yet took forever to be bagged and given to us. It just sat there getting cold. Perhaps they were short staffed or just tired from the earlier morning rush. Who knows but just watching the "half-effort" of the servers speaks for lack of care, in my opinion. And just for transparency, I too work in the breakfast...

UPDATE: 09/22/22 Lowered from 2 stars to 1 star. I don't know what to say about this establishment except HELP!!! Too many issues to even list them all here. I did however enjoy (sarcasm) hearing the guy in the back (cooking) going into great detail by cursing while he described his personal issues about his child support and his baby mama drama, and watched him open up a pack of tenders sitting in a box under the warmer, touching them and looking at them and saying "Nah, they ain't too old, you can serve them (to the person in the drive thru) Anyway, my review is just SOS!! SEND HELP HERE IMMEDIATELY! And before anyone says anything.... yes, I went back to give them a second chance from my previous 2 star review of that cremated Chicken Sandwich, (picture below) and I take the blame/fault in that, but I won't be making that mistake again.

Beware of the "New" Hand Breaded Chicken Sandwich... Filet doesn't even cover the bread, extremely dry... wayyyy over cooked. Please change your grease... I got the sandwich, not the combo $4.26 (including tax) Not planning on returning anytime soon... and if I do, it certainly won't be for their Chicken Sandwich, so...
