Went here for a small wedding reception. 2 of us left to decorate the newlyweds car and my wife told us that we had 10 minutes to leave! We were never told they have an hour and 15 minute time limit, they never took our order after our appetizers, just very rudely said we need to leave. Repeatedly coming to the table for payment but the person paying was outside decorating the car but we told the bride we were going to the bathroom, the waitress went looking for her in the bathroom to pull her out to pay the tab. Then the owners daughter even came out and told us not to take it out on the waitress by not tipping. She would’ve been tipped if she wasn’t rude and hunting us down to pay, and to leave before eating and wishing us a terrible day! I was actually reaching in my pocket to give her a tip out of pity until she said to have a terrible day. They did not tip because of her terrible personality and poor customer service during our visit and especially at the end, the continued harassment to be rushed to pay telling the newlyweds to go into the persons purse that was paying for the tab since they didn’t see her in the restroom. If she was really in the bathroom was she going to interrupt her and not let her finish or wash her hands? I would highly recommend if you go to this place at all to look at the menu first know what you want to eat and order it as soon as you sit down so you have time to actually sit down and enjoy your meal and your time with your party without being thrown out! Read moreI have been a regular customer for about two years enjoying your great food about once every two weeks. Since COVID began I have ordered carry out ordering the same thing the same way. I ask for 2 crab cakes and a Caesar salad. Today Sunday March 7th the person on the phone knew what I meant and the kitchen cooked the order correctly. When I picked up the order the server behind the bar asked to help me. I said I was here for a takeout order of two crab cakes and a Caesar salad. She went to the register and brought me a bill for 31 dollars. I was shocked and said I get this order often and have never paid any where near that. She and another server both said our prices just went up. I said well it looks like I’m done eaten here and gave her the money. She put it in the register then said something to a kitchen staff then came back with my change and said it would be a few minutes because they had only cooked one crab cake and they were putting down another. I got my order in a few minutes went to my car and saw that I had four crab cakes. I went back to find out what was going on and the server was immediately condescending and telling me that an order of crab cakes is two crab cakes. I said I order it the same way every time and this has never happened. Then she said if you’re here so often maybe you should have known that an order is two cakes sarcastically trying to belittle me. She did refund my money but kept up her condescending attitude as she said have a nice day. Read moreI am shocked! Dear friends of mine had gotten married and although, the party was relatively small, only seven people...our plan was to have a small reception of sorts, at the restaurant! We arrived...the service seemed to be up to standard. We ordered drinks..and, in all fairness, they arrived in a timely manner. Shortly after that, we ordered appetizers, and were told sorry..we have no clams..OR..onion rings..and that was alright..we could deal with that. We were having a good time, catching up.. visiting with out of state family...the appetizers arrived. We ordered more drinks. Approximately fifteen minutes after the second round of drinks, before we had the opportunity to even order from the meal menu..we were told our "time was up". That we are only allowed to have the table for an hour and fifteen minutes!! Definitely not even close to five star service..not really even a half star service. Before entrees, our check had reached nearly $200! And we were being told our time is up!!?! Shoddy business practice! Not nearly decent service...and rudeness appear to be the norm. In a business where the "customer is always right"...had any one of those servers been an employee of mine...their employment would have been terminated..no questions asked. To treat paying customers with such audacious rudeness is utterly and completely unprofessional, as well as a huge economical mistake. This restaurant lost a minimum of another $200 because they believe you are entitled to reservations...but only as long as you comprehend there is a time limit of no more than an hour and fifteen...
