Kev's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Taunton

My hubby and kids came here for the 1st time today! We all loved it! What an amazing selection of EVERYTHING! I never usually finish my whole ice cream but this time I did and it was delish! My toddler got rainbow sherbet, hubby got fried dough and a slush and I got a small mint chocolate chip ice cream in a cup with hot fudge, jimmies, whipped cream and sliced fresh bananna's it was so good! We will definitely be back more often as the weather gets better! I also loved they had plenty of socially distanced outdoor seating! Thanks so much for the great service! We did something different today and found this place for Ice cream and a different place later on for dinner (although kevs does also serve food ,we went there after lunchtime) We are so happy to find a great ice cream place!

Update 9/12/22 - Kev's is still the best ice cream place in East Taunton and I absolutely love it! We go here almost at least 1-2 times weekly for ice cream or food and it never disappoints you could get a new flavor every week of the year and still have plenty flavors left to choose from. I always have them out fresh cut bananas on my sundae and it's always delish! My favorite flavor is still grasshopper pie (which is a mint Oreo flavor) Seasonal flavors are awesome like Oreo pumpkin and apple pie, they have limited time flavors like banana cream pie and maple and every flavor is a wonderful surprise of yummy!! Been back several times since my review several weeks ago. Solid service and product.

The type of place you wish you could add an extra half or so star. Been there twice. First trip a few days ago, had an extra thick coffee frappe. Delicious. Went back today to try some food. Two pork tacos and an order of fries. Fries were decent, large portion, but nothing spectacular. Given the price, not a side I would get again just for me. Wish they offered a smaller portion. The tacos though were excellent. You have to like this style, i.e. not like the chain style, and if you do the same are a delicious bargain. At $2.50 each, plenty of meat and well seasoned. Amaro Bros. has the best ice cream South of Boston! They have so many flavors to choose from, and the ice cream is homemade by a local farm. When you want ice cream on a summer night, make this place your first stop. They're affordable and a great place for the whole family or for a cozy date night. They have outdoor seating and also offer food (burgers, fries, etc.).
