Here's the Scoop! (Seasonal) — Restaurant in Taylor

So...I eat here a lot. How much is a lot you may ask? As soon as they open for the season me and my son are probably there 4-5 times a week easy. We've tried it all. Every flavor of the day, the flurries, the slushes, the shakes/malts, and even the floats (they had a run of Faygo floats this summer that unfortunately are discontinued due to them being not so popular It's definitely everyone else's fault. I pulled my weight and then some. My favorite was the Rock n Rye float or mixing a particular flavor of the day with cream soda but I digress). I'm pretty sure the only reason I go to the gym at this point is to maintain my Scoops habit. Today they raised the bar because as I'm on my way out the door headed to get some delicious ice cream my worst nightmare happens. My wife wants me to bring her something home. Don't look at me like that. I'm a nice guy. I'll get her the ice cream. But just when I think her order can't get any more complicated. Just when the girls at Scoops think it's safe to relax. A storm is brewing..... WHAM Baby size sunday in a larger cup. WHAM WHAM Extra peanuts no whipped cream. WHAM WHAM WHAM Reeses+hot fudge + with a sugar cone on top.

And what happens??? THEY KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK OF COURSE!!!

I highly suggest this local ice cream place time and time again. There's a reason why there's always people here instead of the Dairy Queen just a hope skip and a jump away. The girls here all do a fantastic job no matter the amount of customers pilling in to get the best ice cream in town and they do it quickly and with a smile. If mistakes ever happen (very very low percentage of visits with the amount I go) they have always taken care of me and my family with us leaving happy with our visit. I have been going to this Ice cream stand since I was a kid and they have never changed. Usually when I hear that it's not always a good thing but in this case it is. The staff is always very nice and the ice cream is on point every time. I really like their flavor of the day, they rarely have the same flavor twice in a season however, there are exceptions to that. My favorite is the salted caramel, and the Pistachio flavors (which are the flavor of the day)

Here's the scoop: you don't put raw pumpkin puree in a cup of ice cream and blend it up, call it pumpkin ice cream and serve it to customers. That was the most wretched ice cream I have ever allowed past my teeth and onto my tongue. Wow it was bad.
