Taylor Queen Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Taylor

Been coming here for years until today this is my last time. My daughter always order the same milk shake this time the milk shake didn't taste as it normally does. I explained to the two girls that my daughter didn't like the taste of it could she get something else they told me I would have to buy it I explained that it didn't taste like it normally does. The cashier said I can't take it back you have to purchase another one. Very big on supporting my community I will Never support this business again. Very nasty attitudes. Very childish response from a business that's supposed to provide great customer service. We was in the drivethru and yes I did order two one was for my daughter and one was for my husband that was at home. My husband and daughter order this shake from you guys all the time. He didn't drink his either he said that it didn't taste like it normally does. Never thought that I would get this type of response from a place that I have been coming to for years over a shake that only cost a few dollars. It's nothing even for you to watch on the security footage because when you gave us the ice cream we pulled it off then I turned around and came back and brought the shake back. you said we can't return anything stop lying. Very disappointed in your business and the response that you gave. Very immature customer service. I didn't even ask for you to replace both of the shakes I just asked could you remake the one that she had or could she get something else.Very...

This place is like the heart of Taylor! Its affordable, local small business, friendly, fast, delicious, etc! We always run into someone we know here, its a nice community common ground; it brings neighbors together. The menu is extensive, and everything is made lightning fast before your eyes! That being said, the small parking lot and congested driveway situation is the only drawback. They have a drive thru... how cool is that! I love supporting small business, and their prices are awesome, I think their huge specialty sundaes (brownies, cream puffs, etc) are like $4, and generous portions of soft serve are like $2. They also have the flavor twist thing that offers many delicious & fruity flavors; I LOVE lemon!

So It's not super gourmet or trendy; but it is a local hometown favorite that i will continue to support all summer, every summer! (One of my favorite things is that it seems all locals have their own nickname for it because there's not a huge obvious sign. I absolutely love this store, which I usually refer to as the "Red Barn" frozen custard shop. Frozen custard is just plain awesome! They have a multitude of flavors of both frozen custard and ice cream 🍨🍦 as well. Sundaes, banana splits, shakes, and cones are served during warm weather months through the two front order windows and also from the drive through for those who do not want to get out of the car. A very ample sized frozen custard cost just over $4.00 which was a very pleasant surprise during these costly times. The worker's are usually local High School kids who are very grateful for anyone who wants to help them out by donating to their tip jar. There are picnic tables in front and napkins are provided. Water is available by request. Ample parking is available and masks are optional at this time. A Fantastic place to go and cool down on a warm day and the kids will love 💕...
