Websters Pizza & BBQ — Restaurant in Taylor

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, Websters has been one of my go to restaurants my entire life I truly don't remember a time it wasn't around, driving by the for sale sign yesterday was hard but I understand why completely, to say the quality went down under new owners is honestly an understatement. Websters has always been the little hometown restaurant a little expensive sure but for less than 20$ you could get a full order chicken strips dinner packed so full you'd have dinner tonight & tomorrow! Very convenient when balling on a budget! New owners really ruined that, 25$ for a teeny tiny sandwich box with 12 steak fries & 4 chicken strips. Yes I did count. I use to love Websters it's always been the restaurant I choose when I had a little extra cash and they always did right by you considering the prices, if you've eaten here before you'll know the og boxes where like cake boxes and you actually got a boat of fries with your meal unlike now where they just throw a fistful in the bottom of a sandwich box & call it a day. New owners ruined the place & I see why it's for sale after not even a year? Shame on you for ruining this classic diner, the community sincerely misses the way this...

I’ve lived a few years and have never had such a terrible experience. Was staying at a hotel and the front desk recommended them. First mistake. We ordered paid and waited and waited and waited. Called back to hear our order was delivered. Not. Come to find out the genius of a driver delivered it to the wrong room and they took it. Called back and said they would remake the order and resend it Not. Driver got stuck somewhere???? Other orders were being delivered as we ran into other delivery people from the same restaurant. 2 hours later called back again only to be told driver stuck and they would remake the order and resend it AGAIN. Note: this order has already been paid for. Unacceptable. I get it ! Driver is an entry level job but how bad can you be to give it to the wrong room and then get “stuck”. I would seriously not order from them. While Heather was full of excuses and apologies, the first time they offered a piece of cake, the second time they offered to comp the meal but couldn’t guarantee deliver before 9pm. We were not happy with our experience! The calzone was smaller than expected and smaller than many other places. Plus one side was more dry than the other half but not filled at all as described! The fried mushrooms were over cooked but luke warm when we tried them right after received as a carry out. We live less than 5 minutes from the business. Fries in my dinner were not even hot. Some were warm to touch and some were like room temp. Ribs were not even what we expected. Tough and overcooked. Membrane was still on the back too! Can't stand that! Very thin layer of BBQ sauce on the ribs, slapped right on. Tasted like Open Pit. I would have liked more sauce. Do not put coleslaw in a warm box meal. The shrimp was okay. I was expecting bigger shrimp since it said Jumbo! The cheese bread with pepperoni was good but the crust which is for a pizza was overcooked.
