Tray Ting House — Restaurant in Tazewell

From an outside view they look nice and when you walk in it is a nice small mom and pop looking place but the food and customer service was far from it. It is CASH & CHECK ONLY but they do not let you know before hand or on the phone when placing an order. I ordered some sweet & sour chicken that was no where near made but more like it was bought from the frozen section of the grocery store down the road with the rice that it was served with was old and clearly not cooked that day because the onion bits in it was basically fully raw and there was small pieces of leftover pork in the rice and also got some crab rangoons which was very far from what a crab rangoon should be with barley any filling with the filling just being a warm mayonnaise paste with no crab in it not even imitation crab which...

Used to eat here often. Since pandemic have been there to get orders to go. Food leaves much to be desired. I got one order where rice was burnt, chicken was like popcorn chicken with little bite size pieces and hard. Next time rice and chicken were burnt. Disgusting! I will not be back. Most of my friends drive to Wythville or Princeton and so will I. People, check your orders before you leave. Too...

Containers were filled only half way. General Tso's was way too sweet and not very spicy. They were very nice people but obviously the pandemic hit them hard where they have to cut corners. The egg rolls were nearly empty. It's a shame but it is what it is.
