Dinner Friday night. Classic Chinese Buffet with lots of delicious Freshly made options including Sushi & a cooked to order Mongolian Grill option. There is a large variety of salad / cold options, soups, Dumplings, appetizers, beef, chicken, pork, seafood, vegetables options & desserts including soft serve ice cream. The price is reasonable especially if you enjoy seafood. Carryout from the buffet is not a very good deal as it is charged by the very small Styrofoam to go box and the amount of food they hold is not worth the amount charged. You do have the option of ordering specific menu items off the menu thou so that is probably a better to go option. For a small buffet, it's doing its best. You get what you pay for. It has a smaller selection compared to other buffets you might find in Owensboro. Completely self-serve, right down to drinks. If you don't like to be bothered by waiters, this is the place for you. I do not recommend the water from the fountain, it's a little murky and doesn't taste right. Be aware that an hour or two before closing, they stop making the food fresh and what's left on the buffet is what you get. Hey everybody don't go to king chef. I went there to take my step mom out to eat . We went for the buffet. They leave the food out all day. Its not even hot when you get it. I decided to give my 10 month old son water from there fountain drinks and I tried it . There water had tasted like rubbing alcohol. My fiancee also found hair in the food .
