Papa's Pizza To Go — Restaurant in Tellico Plains

We drove out after a recommendation and were expecting something amazing. The piggy bread was pretty good but the pizza was somewhat bland, the sauce was very red almost like it came from a can and no seasonings were added. I have had some delicious pizzas from around the country so maybe it's not a fair review but if they stepped it up a bit I'd drive the 45 minutes weekly! I enjoyed my visit. I wanted a veggie pie. There were too many toppings that were high moisture - so much so that the crust came apart it was so wet. I had to eat it with a fork. It also needed salt. Still, I happily ate it. It wasn't bad, it just needs a little work. Next time I'll give them directions as to how I want it done. Every once in a while, the staff needs to fix & eat every pie on the menu so they know what to do & what not to do. It makes for a better...

Typically some of the best pizza we've had because the toppings are very flavorful and of good quantities and size. This last pizza the toppings were were chopped so much you could say they were diced. We realize everybody has an off day so we'll be back for more. 9/24 - we ordered the deluxe pizza and it was delicious.
