My husband, two fellow BMW motorcycle enthusiasts, and I recently enjoyed a delightful evening at The Tellico Plains Inn during our journey to ride the Cherohala Skyway, with our ultimate destination being in North Carolina. While we typically patronize another motorcycle-friendly hotel, this year they required a minimum two-night stay. Upon reaching out to The Tellico Plains Inn, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, John, who assured us of their motorcycle-friendly policy and waived any minimum stay requirements. Encouraged by this, we promptly booked our rooms and were thoroughly impressed by our experience. The inn, a charmingly refurbished establishment, exuded modern yet cozy ambiance. Its strategic location was ideal, sparing us the need for further rides once we had unpacked our gear. John kindly recommended nearby dining options for both dinner and breakfast, introducing us to the culinary delights of the area. And the comfort of the beds... dreamy! Of all the highlights of our stay, meeting Sherryl, another member of the inn's staff, stands out the most. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, attending to details like the safety of our motorcycles, providing ice and glassware for an impromptu happy hour in the inviting living room, complete with a delightful fireplace. Sherryl even graciously escorted me to the inn's lovely event space at the rear and introduced me to her feline companion, Nigel, who, while charming, was strictly an outdoor resident. The inn boasted tasteful decor both indoors and out, with rocking chairs thoughtfully placed on the front and side porches. Making reservations was a breeze, with John promptly sending confirmations via text and email, complete with all necessary information. His thoughtful follow-up text expressing gratitude for our stay further underscored the exceptional level of customer service we received. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Tellico Plains Inn to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, proximity to eateries, and outstanding value paired with exemplary customer service. It was truly a memorable experience that exceeded our...
