Popular, unassuming restaurant offering all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ meals with traditional sides.

We discovered a quiet gem of a restaurant tonight in Temecula called Seoul Galbi. Our Korean BBQ dinner consisted of several small dish condiments, such as pickled radish slices, green lettuce with dressing, Korean macaroni salad, cheese corn, and braised potatoes, to name a few. Individual servings of steamed egg (aka scrambled egg) were served along with white rice. The meat component of the meal featured a variety of marinated and thinly sliced meats that included spicy pork (hot!), bulgogi (ribeye), pork belly, and chicken. The meats were served at the table raw so that we could grill them to taste preference. Periodically, the grill rack was replaced with a clean rack. A two-condiment dish was also provided with a dipping sauce and table salt (which you moisten with a small amount of oil). THEN!, a small serving of ice cream followed our meal. The restaurant environment is clean, small, and comfortable. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. Yes, we will return for another great, reasonably-priced dining experience!

Do yourself a favor and skip this place! I took my grandson here for his birthday and could not have been more angry with the treatment we received by the restaurant owner (ironically named Grace) who waited on our table. It really seemed like they were slow boating everything they brought to the table and the time between entrees was staggeringly long but we were determined to enjoy and finish our meal as it was all you can eat and cost about 30 dollars per plate. After about an hour, most of it spent waiting, the owner commented “are you still here?". We had a couple more entrees and at about the two hour mark she began to question if we were beyond their 2 1/2 hour time limit for all you can eat! I was SO insulted that I asked for the bill. I paid over a hundred dollars and left hungry. It seemed to us that they deliberately give slow service to avoid allowing customers to have all-they-can-eat as it says on the sign up front (see photo). I only wish zero stars was an option because this restaurant really earned zero stars today.

What a fantastic hidden Korean restaurant. For those who enjoy cooking your own meal right at your table, this place is a must. The staff was excellent. You will be pleasantly surprised when you walk in and are greeted by very frendly staff, with no language barriers or misunderstanding. Once you've been seated they take their time going over the menu, answering any questions you may have, as well offering a few suggestions. Now if you order the all you can eat, everyone at your table has to order it as well, something to think about. The side portions are great, and keep coming. The meat, wow can they stack it. Don't go thinking you will be in and out in 30 min, go enjoy your time, enjoy cooking it, and then the best part. Enjoy savoring each bite.
