Updated review:We have experienced problems on our last 3 visits after my initial review of Vero's Mexican and Seafood Restaurant. This has led to me revising my Yelp score from 4 stars to 2 stars. Main problem stems from poor food quality and lack of following through with requests. On delivery orders they have failed to provide hot sauce with each order. We have requested it on our orders but it is never in the bag. Try eating a dry fish taco with no white sauce and only some crappy red sauce they put on. Also, all tostadas ordered have come soggy and they have used chopped lettuce and not shredded lettuce. So bad my wife tossed hers and made her dinner with chips we had at home. My last carne asada burrito was very greasy and without salsa, not so good. There is only so much blame you can pin on the delivery service. This poor quality and lack of following through with customers request falls on Vero's. As they say in the big leagues "three strikes and you are out".

First time customers of Vero's Mexican food. We opted for takeout. We ordered the carne asada burrito, ceviche tostada, chips and salsa. My burrito was pretty good. There was plenty of meat and it had good flavor. My bride liked her ceviche tostada but said they were somewhat skimpy on the fish. The chips were good but did not justify the 10 dollar bill they cost. The salsa was extra. Vero's very much earns 4 stars but will need some more visits from us to earn the 5th star. Nonetheless it provided for a good first impression. As Arnold would say "...

If I could give -5 stars… I would. I try my best to be understanding when it comes to the service industry, but this experience was so shockingly disappointing, I had to leave a review. I came to Vero’s this afternoon and was greeted and sat. I was famished as this was my one meal of the day (intermittent fasting). I’ve had a hankering for fried whole tilapia and searched all of Temecula to find this spot. I started feeling queasy right as I finished my meal… and shortly after broke into a feverish sweat. I excused myself to the bathroom JUST in time to catch the sink with the first surge of upchuck. When I discreetly called the hostess over to let her know that I’d just gotten sick, I was met with “Well, you know it takes 13- 20hrs for food poisoning to affect you after you eat.” I looked at this lady confused as all get out, because I was literally profusely sweating and struggling to catch my breath as she’s saying this to my face. With no affect, she literally shrugged me off, and said she didn’t know what it could be and that I should “go get some rest”.

Suffice to say, I WILL NEVER return here and would NEVER...

The food tasted HORRIBLE and when I asked for a more mild salsa, she came back with a new salsa for me. After taking hardly a bite, my mouth was on fire so badly that I ran up to the bar and asked them for anything that would help to describe what’s called in Horchata since I don’t know what is in one and I couldn’t remember the name., Although I said it was milky and sweet. I did my best to describe the drink. They said something that sounded like Mitchell and we’re talking so quickly and I said yes yes whatever will make the pain go away. They brought me. Giant michelada with a super spicy rim. When I complained to the waitress about how I did not enjoy the food and that it was not very good and also it was hardly half eaten… And then mentioned that that was a Michelada, which is a super spicy drink and is not what I ordered or would’ve ordered. I wanted Horchata. THE OWNER SAID HE WONT DO ANYTHING FOR ME BECAUZE I TECHNICALLY ORDER THE FOOD AND DRINK and handed me the full bill.

Horrible service amd zero customer...

I haven't been in here for dining in a while, although my boss orders us tacos from here often. It was pretty good tonight, chips and salsa were good, my friend got a cheese enchilada plate, and beef flauta, she really enjoyed both dishes. I ordered 3 rolled tacos and the mixto mocajete with chicken, asada and shrimp, cheese and nopales, it came with rice, beans and tortillas. It was SOO GOOD!! very well seasoned, not dry at all! My friend had never seen a molcajete, she tried some and said she will be getting one next time. We will be back soon. Don't forget to leave from for dessert, house made ice cream and paletas. I got a scoop of pistachio ice cream and my friend got cookies and cream and strawberry milk based ice cream. They have water based ones as well. They have a nice size menu. I forgot to take pictures of my food because I was hungry lol so here's her plate.

Went out with the team after work to grab some food, and I was not disappointed. One of my coworkers ordered the fajitas, and they were insane! Another coworker got the carne asada burrito, and he was super happy with it. I decided to switch it up and got the California burrito wet—something a little different, but let me tell you, it was bomb.com! Highly recommend checking this place out. Prices weren’t too bad, and everyone was super friendly. It’s a great mom-and-pop shop vibe.

My husband and i have now had Veros many times, for different meals of the day, and everything has been delicious. He lives for their chilaquiles! I usually get the asada steak and egg burrito for breakfast. We stopped in for lunch this time and got: chicken chimichanga plate, abodaba mini tacos and the chorizo plate. Everything was really good and a bonus of getting ice cream right there afterwards. Highly recommend and is now my go to place.
