Updated review:We have experienced problems on our last 3 visits after my initial review of Vero's Mexican and Seafood Restaurant. This has led to me revising my Yelp score from 4 stars to 2 stars. Main problem stems from poor food quality and lack of following through with requests. On delivery orders they have failed to provide hot sauce with each order. We have requested it on our orders but it is never in the bag. Try eating a dry fish taco with no white sauce and only some crappy red sauce they put on. Also, all tostadas ordered have come soggy and they have used chopped lettuce and not shredded lettuce. So bad my wife tossed hers and made her dinner with chips we had at home. My last carne asada burrito was very greasy and without salsa, not so good. There is only so much blame you can pin on the delivery service. This poor quality and lack of following through with customers request falls on Vero's. As they say in the big leagues "three strikes and you are out".
First time customers of Vero's Mexican food. We opted for takeout. We ordered the carne asada burrito, ceviche tostada, chips and salsa. My burrito was pretty good. There was plenty of meat and it had good flavor. My bride liked her ceviche tostada but said they were somewhat skimpy on the fish. The chips were good but did not justify the 10 dollar bill they cost. The salsa was extra. Vero's very much earns 4 stars but will need some more visits from us to earn the 5th star. Nonetheless it provided for a good first impression. As Arnold would say "...

I came to Vero’s this afternoon and was greeted and sat. I was famished as this was my one meal of the day (intermittent fasting). I’ve had a hankering for fried whole tilapia and searched all of Temecula to find this spot. I started feeling queasy right as I finished my meal… and shortly after broke into a feverish sweat. I excused myself to the bathroom JUST in time to catch the sink with the first surge of upchuck. When I discreetly called the hostess over to let her know that I’d just gotten sick, I was met with “Well, you know it takes 13- 20hrs for food poisoning to affect you after you eat.” I looked at this lady confused as all get out, because I was literally profusely sweating and struggling to catch my breath as she’s saying this to my face. With no affect, she literally shrugged me off, and said she didn’t know what it could be and that I should “go get some rest”.
Suffice to say, I WILL NEVER return here and would NEVER...
Read moreThe food tasted HORRIBLE and when I asked for a more mild salsa, she came back with a new salsa for me. After taking hardly a bite, my mouth was on fire so badly that I ran up to the bar and asked them for anything that would help to describe what’s called in Horchata since I don’t know what is in one and I couldn’t remember the name., Although I said it was milky and sweet. I did my best to describe the drink. They said something that sounded like Mitchell and we’re talking so quickly and I said yes yes whatever will make the pain go away. They brought me. Giant michelada with a super spicy rim. When I complained to the waitress about how I did not enjoy the food and that it was not very good and also it was hardly half eaten… And then mentioned that that was a Michelada, which is a super spicy drink and is not what I ordered or would’ve ordered. I wanted Horchata. THE OWNER SAID HE WONT DO ANYTHING FOR ME BECAUZE I TECHNICALLY ORDER THE FOOD AND DRINK and handed me the full bill.
Horrible service amd zero customer...
