To Antonio Cancio (Jubao's General Manager) or other GMs,
On Saturday night, 11/25/2023, we arrived at Jubao Palace Noddle Bar Seminole Hard Rock casino @ 7:45 pm with a party of 12 (some of us had been at Jubao multiple times, and some were first-time visitors). The restaurant overall was clean but too crowded. We waited in line for over 1.5 HOURS to get our table. When our table was ready, a lady hostess told us that we’d be sitting at two separate tables (5 and 7 people per table), and we tried to make things easy for everyone, so we were ok with two separated tables, plus the tables weren’t far away. A friend of ours (7th person) arrived at our table a few minutes later after she went to the restroom. Because there were only six chairs at the time we arrived, I mentioned to the host that we’d like to have a chair for the 7th person who had just recently arrived at our 7-people table; the host was rude to us and said my friend couldn't sit at 7-people table even though there are currently six people. I spoke with our table waitress; she deferred to the assistant manager for the chair.
I spoke with the assistant manager (a young gentleman whose age is between 28 and 38 years old) and asked if we could get a chair for the table of 7 people; the assistant manager didn’t even ask about our situation and said we couldn’t have a 7th person on this table. He asked my friend (7th person) to leave when he first arrived at our table even though there were spaces for chairs at this table. We politely explained the situation to the assistant manager, saying that the table had seven people and she was the 7th person. I again explained that we signed up for 12 people and were told to split into two tables. The assistant manager didn’t seem to care about our situation accused us of only signing up for six people, and denied providing a chair for my friend (7th person) with an insulting attitude and racist. Because the assistant manager was very unprofessional, rude, and racist, I decided to speak with another assistant manager who happened to walk by. Still, he said he was leaving, and it seemed he was trying to rush us away. He deferred the situation to the current shift’s assistant manager, who happened to be the guy I spoke with a few minutes earlier. The assistant manager refused to provide a chair for our friend (7th person) at the table of 7 people. The assistant manager was racist and rude, so we all decided to leave the Jubao place and have dinner elsewhere. This Jubao noddle bar was too crowded. I understand everyone was busy, and the staff probably had a long night, but being RACIST and RUDE to its customers is unacceptable. We have been to many restaurants in town and out of state, from small to big, as well as luxury restaurants, and we love to try different foods from different cultures but have never experienced anything like last Saturday night. It was a bad experience at Jubao Palace Noddle Bar, and we definitely...
Read moreI have been coming here for many years to this noodle bar at the casino. I recently called the number that was on the website and asked if they were open and available for takeout, this was through the number on Google. They proceeded to tell me that yes they were open and available for takeout. Being local and going here all the time I drove over to pick up some Ramen upon arrival I was told that I cannot place a take-out order even though Google said I could place a take-out order when I called they said I could place a take-out order and their website says you can place a take-out order. After speaking with the manager Vicky she was not very cooperative or respectful and would not let me place a take-out order at all. She simply stated that she did not care what the casino said and they had nothing to do with the casino and I was not allowed to place a take-out order. I thought this was extremely unprofessional one, and did not represent the casino well either. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and I would never ever tell a customer no they cannot place a take-out order after my website, and the number that is shown on their website both told me I could place a to go order. Maybe they should correct their website on Google as well as inform their customer service team that take out is not available so locals like myself do not drive all the way over to the casino find parking and wait to find out you’re unable to place a to go order. The general manager Vicki there could have been accommodating this time but yet informed me that we cannot do to go orders in the future and maybe even change their website and inform the hotel and the customer service team that takes out we’re...
Read moreThe food here is alright, but it opens until 4am so that’s a plus if you want Asian food. Their appetizer is alright, the cucumber salad wasn’t as good as I imagined, it was a bit soggy. The pork ribs are good, but dry. Their wonton noodle soups were delicious and the broth tasted good. The fried rice wasn’t good. It was very bland and dry. The service was alright and the space was tight so you’ll have to wait. Overall, it’s alright, don’t expect too much, but the price is reasonable! Definitely recommend to try their soups than rice!
Update: 4/24/24 Sooooo this time we went back to try out their Oxtail Pho for $30.00. So, the pho was lacking beef flavor and spice, but they did gave me A LOT of oxtail bones. The meat was tender but a lot of fat. Their wonton noodle soup with egg noodles tasted good with chicken flavor broth. I also tried their roasted duck with rice. The bokchoy was dry but the duck was super tender and flavorful! Highly recommend trying their roasted duck over their pork ribs, since it was super dry the last time we ate it. Their whole roasted duck was $60.00 which is a bit expensive, but it’s the quality that matters. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the experience much more better this time than last. Also, the eggs were a bit overcooked in my opinion for the appetizers, but everything...
